As far as silly sports go, I think Baseball takes the cake. Football, after all, is the most popular sport in the world.
Yay for soccer:

Arabs can’t play football (that’s soccer to the uninformed hehe) for shit…
Soccer isn’t even a sport - it is a bad Greek drama with the occasional ball going in the occasional net. :>
(kidding, I used to play soccer - badly - to stay in shape in the offseason of other sports)
I hate soccer and anybody who supports it, arab or otherwise.
hours of running around, final score 1-0. It sucks.
Then,we are mortal enemies…

So be it.

In knee sox, no less. Seconded. I hate in this order:
- golf
- curling
- soccer
- bowling

Yep. Soccer/Football sucks, apart from the world cup, of course, which rocks. The scoring is not the problem for me. I especially detest the drinking, the faked injuries and the hooliganism.
Still I consider curling, darting, tennis, golf etc. a lot worse.

Heretic!

KG terminates the Pistons with extreme prejudice.
Why are we talking about soccer?! Here come the Celtics!
Best record in the NBA in the regular season, and begin their destruction of the Lakers in the NBA Finals on Thursday!
Go Boston!

Zidane’s a Berber. They don’t identify as Arabs or particularly like Arabs.

I think that anybody with pics of berber women should start a thread. They are without a doubt the most beautiful women in North Africa and among the most beautiful in the world. Has Kliplemet ever ventured from sub-sahara northward? Maybe he has some pics.
Now, how we got from Scott Mclellan to this, I dont know! But I thought I’d run with it all the same ![]()
Christopher Hitchens makes my point about Feith’s book - and adds the tidbit that the NYT, Washington Post, LA Times and Boston Globe have all failed to review Feith’s book:

Look, true or false, let’s face it, the Mclellan story is SENSATIONAL. As Hitchen says in his complimentary review, Feith’s book is dry. I don’t think the reason that those publications have not yet reviewed Feith’s book (although apparently NYT has but not printed it yet) is due to political bias. It’s just that the one makes for a sensational story, where the other does not. That’s a pity, really, but that’s where we find we are at in the 21st century in America. The evening news resembles more and more a gossip show…and vice-versa.

Good find.
