Im low shbg. Always a couple decimals above the bottom of the range 19.9 with 19.3 being lowest and 16.3 with 16 lowest the time before. 40mg eod was only getting me to 641 TT and 179 FT and i did the labs like 18 hours early. I have since moved to 23mg daily but dont really expect levels to be much higher. So I’m not surprised that 10mg has you at 300
10mg daily is only 70mg/wk How? Why did you come up with that amount to inject. It is no wonder you are only at 325TT.
I would lie to the doc and say you dropped your bottle and it broke so you had to cut your dose until you were allowed to buy more.
You could probably count the number of TRT docs on one hand that though daily injections would do anything. In fact Defy does not even prescribe it but if you want they will say OK. I would not tell him it will not go good for you.
70mg a week is nothing. You ness to take a ton more man. You are wasting time staying stuck in low t status. Don’t be afraid of t.
Take 20 daily ASAP and get better.
Been on 20mg a day for about 5 weeks now. Definitely feel less fatigued throughout the day. I should be getting some blood results back from urologist this week. H/H PSA and Total T and Free T. I have noticed a lot less semen and much thicker as well on ejaculation. And its not as strong of an orgasm. Anyone else have this happen when starting TRT. Never had this before.
Your levels are not even stable yet, it will takes 6 weeks for levels to stabilize and 6-12 months to see maximum benefits so you need to be patient. Absolutely everyone goes through growing pains the first couple of months, mostly men struggle longer because they’re doctors are inept at managing TRT and the patient must figure everything out which takes much longer.
It took my more than a year to figure out my protocol, if I had known daily injections was needed early on, it would have taken me no time at all.
The reason could be levels are in excess, high estrogen can affect erections, sensitivity and ejaculet. Almost no one hits the right dosage on the first try, in fact it may take several times to hit the right dosage.
I remember 10mg everyday was too much for me, way too much, the difference between 7-10 is pretty big. I’m very sensitive to TRT on daily dosing, unlike any other protocol before it.
So Nurse just called from Urology office to go over my recent bloodwork and wants to start me on AI and donate blood. I will donate blood but i dont think I’m going to start the AI
E2 is 52.
PSA was .9
Hemocrit 52.5
Hemog-17.9
Total T- 514
Free T is 141.3. This was 36.7. Before TRT.
No ranges till i get copy from quest
This is Subq 20mg ED. 140mg per week
If you go back to 1 or 2 T shots a week that will drop your E2.
As for your HCT you can donate blood until you crash your ferritin. You should add ferritin to your blood test if you donate more than twice a year. Buy a blood pressure machine from amazon and check your BP often. Get to know you heart. What is your resting heart rate when you wake. When you come home from errands, before and after the gym and bedtime. Do this everyday for about a month and you will really be in tuned with your heart. Then if your hct gets too high you will see it in your BP.
I hope this helps?
Thanks hrdlvn.
I thought doing ED was the best protocol to keep E2 down. Maybe i should try EOD 40mg as of now im ED 20mg. My heart rate is about 72-75 upon waking. blood pressure is about 130/82. Averages. I may just come off trt as its not really any noticeable difference to be honest. I like the less brain fog but i gained 20 pounds in 2 months doing it and was the last thing i needed. Changed diet for 6 weeks at 1500 calories and didnt budge.
If you kept your weekly T dose and went to daily shots your TT and E2 will be higher not lower. If you have been on daily for a while go get a mini blood test for TT and E2 see if I am right. This site has people on both sides of this argument. Go get bloods then you will know who speaks the truth.
