Sagging Pants Means your a Homo

I like where this thread is going.

Football wrote that he beat up someone who spoke to him the wrong way. Maybe you can explain why someone’s pants sagging have shit to do with it being ok to beat them up.

Okay prof X. I’m not going to be one of the douche bags on this website that sit around and suck your dick and think you are mister high and mighty. You both took my comment completely out of context, so how about YOU stop acting like a goddamn expert.

I DID grow up around this “culture”. I live 10 mins away from the #1 most dangerous city in america, I live 15 mins outside of philadelphia, along as 10mins outside of some of the lowest income neighborhoods in the area.

I was SIMPLY STATING the people AROUND ME that wear SAGGING PANTS typically give off the general WIGGER and “GANGSTA” mentality,!!! That is a mentality that I personally HATE. They are tools non the less, and bringing that shit into higher end neighborhoods, acting like fools, like A LARGE MAJORITY DO AROUND MY AREA, such as trying to act badass and “Gangsta”, piss me off.

I had PLENTY of kids from these neighborhoods move into my area and goto MY high school. Not all were idiots, but most were. I personally beat the shit out of one of them at a party because he was displaying above mentioned personality towards myself.

So don’t act like mr fucking know it all before you actually know what someone’s particular situation is.

Well then we are neighbors. You’re 10 minutes outside Camden (where I own a social club) and 15 outside Philadelphia where I run a security team for a club and supply protection for a card game frequented by some of your romanticized old school sociopaths. And, you said “wannabe” gangsters. That was your statement. You also tried to wax poetic about “old school” gangsters with the ones that sag their pants, slang dope and shoot indiscriminately. So it was pretty clear to me, and X, that you were favorably comparing older white gangsters against younger black drug dealers and gang bangers. Lemme guess? You live in Cherry Hill? Haddonfield?

Funny how X and I both got the same impression from your post. He’s black, and I’m white. Coincidence? Or am I giving him head too? Because he and I don’t always agree, especially on perspectives of race. And furthermore, he’s a BB, I’m a PL  LOL

You beat someone up because you didn’t like their personality “towards yourself” and THEY are the tools?

I am trying to figure out where the hatred is coming from. It is a fucking style, yet some of you have read into it so much negativity that you can’t even see your own bias. You are intolerant of different cultures to your own. You call “them” tools when you seem to be the one acting out against them.

That is what I don’t understand. If I see someone with their pants sagging, NONE of the bullshit some of you seem to be bringing up surfaces at all. I notice it and go back to what I was doing. I don’t consider them morons and idiots for it. I know too many who do this personally and many are my patients I treat daily. How many of these people do you know beyond seeing them walk by you? How do you know they are all idiots because they sag their pants?

You keep calling people out for being “wannabe gangsters”. What exactly does this mean? using slang? How would you know who is a “wannabe” and who actually acts that way because that is the culture they were raised around?

Further, how the hell is “wigga” even still used in conversation? This word had meaning in the fucking 90’s but loses that meaning now because the Hip Hop culture is too diverse and widespread. Eminem isn’t a “wigga”… yet some of you act as if you would label him as such because he doesn’t act “traditionally white”.

Why is that?

Why all of the hatred and then why the backwards thinking that has some of you labeling ME as an “angry black man” when you are the one beating people up for a fucking style?
Exactly. We get 500+ in our club on a given weekend nite. Half or more pants sagging. Of them, a small percentage are bona fide gang bangers. The rest are high school seniors (we’re 18 to get in, 21 to drink) and college students. COLLEGE STUDENTS.

Fact is, if the “tribe” perceives such as the fashion, they will follow - up to and including the aforementioned horrendous “skinny jeans” - which I have no fucking hope of ever sporting so I’m praying it’s not really in style lol, and other permutations of “style”.

YOU CANNOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT’S COVER. Do you want to know how many idiots on the weekend refer to me as the bouncer or a “security guard”, yet I make X of 100k a year? If you saw me on the weekend with loose fitting jeans, tims and a shirt, would you think I worked in an office during the week, owned two companies, lived in the country (I live rural S. Jersey) on 7 acres and my own home? If you saw me during the week wearing dress slacks, shoes and a dress shirt, would you peg me for my other activities and interests? Would you look at me and conclude I like hip hop, don’t mind a good fight and raise pitbulls? If you saw me walking down the street holding hands with a white chick, would you know I might PIITB of a black chick the next day? I think you get the point. Hell, we even have college kids sagging and wearing red - posing like bloods. Fashion is fashion - nothing more.

The problem is when you look at someone, whether you lived in Camden - “around that shit” (another indicting statement) - or not, you cannot make any assumptions based on appearance. We are ALL guilty of it to some extent granted, but the more you’re guilty of it, the more you are missing in this world - both positive and negative. You might meet someone and be surprised you have more in common than thought or, you might sleep on someone that looked innocent and wasn’t
Professor X wrote:

You are calling yourself out. Bodyguard called you on the exact same shit and he did it before me…and he’s NOT black. Yet you didn’t call him an “angry white person”. Why is that?
Juanny is from the Pollacktown area, where my social club is. He’s still around all the time. There are drug sets all thru the area. Do you remember what street you were on? Were you around the Morton St. area off Mt. Ephraim?

Wow, looks like I’m late to the party (story of my life, LOL)

When I was in prison, the CO’s wouldn’t let you sag your pants. Some guys did it anyway, but it wasn’t because they were someone’s bitch, it was more to buck the authority. But they pulled that shit right up when the CO told them to! (and pulled it right back down again when he turned his back LOL)

As for all this talk about it being “gangsta”, most OG’s that I came up with kept their shit on the DL.

But times change. Now it is a pretty wide spread style. As with any style, if you can pull it off, you do - but if you can’t, you look pretty fucking ridiculous! LOL I don’t see my self as being able to pull off saggy jeans at my age! But 20 years ago when I was on that scene? I could have pulled it off. Someone earlier spoke of “tribes” that people identify with and conform to - this is pretty spot on. Obviously, if you don’t subscribe to that “tribe”, it looks pretty silly.

I don’t know why people get all butthurt over style. Some people just don’t get it, though. In DC with some of the circles I hang out in, if someone shows up at a bar after 8 wearing khakis, he’ll get a few snickers (happy hour is ok though…) Do you see what I mean? People will use just about any excuse to judge and, by implication, raise their status among those who agree with them… It’s all just silly - who gives a fuck what anyone else wears? I’ve been to some so called “high end” places a few years ago who made me tuck my shirt it if I wanted to enter! (which has be out of vogue for several years now), and some places won’t allow hats!

I never got that shit. I mean if you are going to a place where a jacket is required, that’s one thing, but a bar? Please! It makes me wanna pull a gat outta my dip and pop a cap in someone’s ass! LMAO ;p

You’ve lost it. I wrote that in reference to what football wrote, not you. You seem to be the one with the problems today. The point was, why bring up some guy that he beat up in a thread about pants sagging unless it is to say that all people who do this all act the same.

It is the broad sweeping generalizations that I commented on and the same ones that Bodyguard commented on.

We get it, pants sagging is apparently very strange to many suburban males to the point that it literally pisses them off and makes them want to beat people up, but why get pissed when the rest of us want to know where all of the hatred is coming from?

I understood what football wrote as well. A person whom he described as wearing sagging pants, got in his face or was rude or something to that effect, and received a beating. He did not attack him because of his attire.
I agree with what you said earlier though. I see guys wearing sagging pants, notice it and go on my way. I really could care less.

Like Prof X said, how would I know they are idiots and morons until Ive met them? After talking with them, I know now most of them are idiots.

What? You expecting me to label a whole “style” of people inferior before Ive met any of them?

Also notice I said “Hung” and “Spoken” meaning it was past tense therefore I no longer interact with them.

Well, as you now know, they don’t give a fuck down there. Last summer a 16 year old shot at a police car. I don’t believe they ever caught him but they sure did shut that part of the City down looking for him. It would be nice if they’d respond in that fashion to all calls.

There is zero point in arguing him anymore then what I have.
