This one too

I got one for ya though: BOOKS that made you tear up. The whole Dark Tower series, all 7. there was at least one moment in each book where the pages started looking pretty blurry.
I quit reading that around book 5 I think. They saved the town from the mechanical wolves and then the black chick went crazy again and left and they were doing some voodoo magic to go after her. I liked it but some of the parts were so damn weird I just couldn’t get into it and lost interest. Is the ending worth finishing?

When older Private Ryan stands up and salutes the grave of Captain Miller.

When the basketmall team waits for Coach Carter in the library and refuse to play.

In The Sixth Sense when Cole tells his mom that hsi grandmother’s answer to his mother’s prayers is “Every day.”

Stupid thread idea ><

Agreed. This is becoming a list of movies that I will NOT watch. :frowning:

End of episode 22(last of season six) of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Willow vs Zander.

Also from Buffy(Season 5 episode 16:The Body). When Buffy finds her mom dead and the final scene when Dawn finally gets to see her too.

I almost forgot the episode after “The Body” when Dawn tries to bring their mom back to life and Buffy answers the door saying “Mommy”

Has anyone watched “Johnny Got His Gun”? Just from the scenes from Metallica’s clip “One” one can see that is a quite emotional movie.

The mere fact you can claim to be a supernatural fan, and not think that was an emotional scene, leads me to wonder. We all have differing opinions. but fact is, it was an incredibly emotional scene. You can debate whether it was the most emotional but not over whether it was or not. youd simply be wrong on that. ok, mr. supernatural fan, how did their father john die?
Where have I said it wasn’t an emotional scene? I’m refuting your statement that it is a fact that Supernatural is the greatest and possibly most emotional series on television lol. Learn to discern opinion from fact.

And RV… NO YOU DIDN’T try to call me out as a Supernatural fan!!! =D

Tell you what - you post a pic of you holding a piece of paper saying “I <3 the Winchesters!” and I’ll post a pic of me holding up one of my Supernatural boxed sets. Deal?

Yea, didn’t think so.

Star Trek, the recent movie

where Captain Kirk dies exploding the ship into another ship

I cried.

no I am not lying.

It was quite sad, but I didn’t cry. =( However I’ve never fully devoted my viewing attentions to Futurama so I think the character connection may be lost on me. I was out running around wild when Futurama was on. =P

My loss I’m sure.

The ending of The Luck of the Fryrish is quite good too. Not sad, more like, emotional.

I found the full episode on Megavideo to watch the ending and it got me…again.

Can’t believe no one has said it yet. The scene from Platoon where Lias is running towards the chopper and is getting shot. I hear the music my eyes start welling up.

Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no Haka). This is THE saddest film that I have ever seen. It’ll seriously ruin your day…

The Thirteenth Warrior - When Bulvei has been poisoned and they wait for the last attack. And all that’s left to do is pray…

All I ask is no more posts that end with …and if you didn’t tear up from that you’re not human.

The dog had almost zilchio effect on me. Perhaps it was because I knew it was coming.

The Luck of The Fryish on the other hand, practically hit me in the stomach with a shovel.

Neither compares to the film “Nim”, which for some reason brought me closer to crying than I ever thought I’d come. Like, we’re talking shaky territory here.
