You compared a private citizen being staunch to what is supposed to be a fair and unbiased media…if you can’t see the difference then you are not as smart as some of your lackeys think you are, or you are just being your usual stubborn self…who never under any circumstances can admit that he is… wr wro wrong…there I said it for you.
Keep em coming…
You are giving me really good belly laughs today TB.
Trump’s people rallied around him pretty hard, but since he didn’t get the majority you’re seeing a minority amount of rallying. Math is not Trump’s friend in this regard.
These things are why I genuinely don’t care about the difference in the way the press treated Obama/Trump. Trump, and only Trump, has the power to shut down basically everything the media throws his way. He’s either too proud or too inept to do so. If nothing else, Obama knew when to shut his damn mouth.
The issue is one of standards, Zeb - and a serious question. Since you think it’s ok to have different standards for different people based purely on political biases (which you do, and we’re talking standards here, not political preferences like liking one policy over another), aren’t you ok with the idea that media should do the same and the problem of “fair and balanced” just gets solved the problem via the marketplace by having different media for different unapologetic biases, like in talk radio?
No idea, I was in HS at the time (I’m currently 27).
That being said, I don’t have a problem with how the MEDIA treats anyone, because the root of how they treat everyone is due to the American population feeding into it. If America stops feeding into it, the system changes (same concept as E! and MTV and other such garbage networks).
When the media lies, doesn’t do proper due diligence, etcetc I have a problem, but assuming the content is true, the only people we have to blame for how the media treats people is ourselves. It’s the main reason I don’t follow any MS news apart from things like Election day, State of the union, etc. I don’t believe in feeding them sales when this is the type of news they produce.
The law enforcement investigation into possible coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign has identified a current White House official as a significant person of interest, showing that the probe is reaching into the highest levels of government, according to people familiar with the matter.
I thought as much - the talk turns to policy, and you retreat to the sideline (as always). No problem, the adults will return to the policy discussion.
Well, they were pretty harsh with him. Granted GW was a lousy communicator. But they have regularly been tougher on republicans than democrats. Nixon pre-Watergate was also treated harshly.
But, I won’t deny Trump acts like an ass at times which draws the an already hostile press to the attack.
But it has been shown that about 80% of all stories from the left wing media are hostile toward Trump.
And Obama could have crapped his pants in public and the media would have held their collective noses and said with a straight face “What smell”?
Hey…honestly…I don’t care nearly as much as my posts may indicate. I’m here to have some fun and today I am having plenty of it.
This, from the most discredited poster on this site not named Zeb, at whom we’re all still laughing at from the Biology of Race thread? Swing and a miss. Have fun shopping online for fingernail polish, “alpha”.
