Russia Won't Go Away

Much of fake news is on purpose and it’s effective even if a correction is made. People will never forget the Trump Russia nonsense even after it continually shown to be fake news

I have a bad habit of reading the trainwreck comments sections of articles and one today had a Trump poster who said fake news…even if this is true who cares?

How do you respond to that

Here’s one youtuber I watch

A supporter of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, he has been described as alt-right by Politico.[2][1][3] The Freedomain Radio internet community which he leads has sometimes been described as a cult.[4][5

Another douchebag Raj reads.

According to Steven Hassan, a licensed mental health counselor with experience on cults, “Partly what’s going on with the people on the Internet who are indoctrinated, they spend lots of hours on the computer. Videos can have them up all night for several nights in a row. Molyneux knows how to talk like he knows what he’s talking about—despite very, very little academic research. He cites this and cites that, and presents it as the whole truth. It dismantles people’s sense of self and replaces it with his sense of confidence about how to fix the world.”[3]

Got Raj written all over it.

Raj you should make a thread for all the loser blog posts and racist websites you read instead of sprinkling them around.

Do you ever wonder why the Fake News seems to only be fake in one direction?

No because actual Fake News–ie, the sort seen during the election, as opposed to the simple mistakes that you insist, erroneously and for nefarious purposes, on (mis)labeling Fake News–was all created and promulgated by an entity (read: Russia) with a specific goal, that being to discredit the anticipated administration of HRC. Thus, it is not surprising that actual Fake News was ‘always in the same direction.’ It just so happens that that direction is the opposite of what you would like to claim.

So one direction huh? How about you the fake news you posted about fmg?

This and the two WSJ articles from the past couple days are important for two reasons: 1) it establishes that an American GOP operative was actively working with the Russians to gain access to Clinton’s emails, and 2) it provides two named sources (for those not satisfied with anonymous ones).

What’s unknown is whether Smith was involved directly with the Trump team. As this article establishes, he seemed to imply that he was connected with them. Smith, 81, died 10 days after speaking with the WSJ reporter. No cause was listed.

Then, a few weeks into my interactions with Smith, he sent me a document, ostensibly a cover page for a dossier of opposition research to be compiled by Smith’s group, and which purported to clear up who was involved. The document was entitled “A Demonstrative Pedagogical Summary to be Developed and Released Prior to November 8, 2016,” and dated September 7. It detailed a company Smith and his colleagues had set up as a vehicle to conduct the research: “KLS Research”, set up as a Delaware LLC “to avoid campaign reporting,” and listing four groups who were involved in one way or another.

The first group, entitled “Trump Campaign (in coordination to the extent permitted as an independent expenditure)” listed a number of senior campaign officials: Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway, Sam Clovis, Lt. Gen. Flynn and Lisa Nelson.

The largest group named a number of “independent groups / organizations / individuals / resources to be deployed.” My name appears on this list. At the time, I didn’t recognize most of the others; however, several made headlines in the weeks immediately prior to the election.

My perception then was that the inclusion of Trump campaign officials on this document was not merely a name-dropping exercise. This document was about establishing a company to conduct opposition research on behalf of the campaign, but operating at a distance so as to avoid campaign reporting. Indeed, the document says as much in black and white.

Because you only pay attention to the Dems fake news and don’t research the stuff you read?

Did the birther movement just not happen for you?

Since the rise of Trump fake news has almost completely gone one way

And during Obama’s reign fake news went the exact opposite way. How is this confusing to you? Fake news is nearly always directed at those in power.

You post a fake news link almost daily on this website

You’ve got nothing to say about the article I posted today?

It sounds juicy at the moment, but if we follow the pattern of the Russia Trump stuff, it will eventually lead to a dead end.

He would prefer to post his fake news stories of the day and pretend they are real

Raj what will it mean to you if word comes out that people with high profile Trump positions worked with Russia during the campaign? Will you think that is a big deal?

In other words, you didn’t read any of it.

However, the eight-year investigation has already offered a rare glimpse of the inner workings of a US real estate market that US Treasury Department officials warn is awash with dirty money. It has raised questions about what steps Mr Trump has taken to check whether tainted funds are coursing through his properties.

Mr Trump’s Kazakh connection also adds to the emerging picture of the president’s enigmatic relationship with the former Soviet Union. Questions about that relationship have dominated the early months of his presidency as multiple investigations examine claims his campaign colluded with Russian attempts to manipulate the 2016 presidential election.

It is unclear how much money has flowed from the alleged Kazakh laundering scheme to Mr Trump. Title deeds and banking records show that in April 2013 shell companies controlled by the Khrapunovs spent $3.1m buying three luxury apartments in Trump Soho from a holding company in which Mr Trump held a stake.

In the years that followed, a new business model emerged: Mr Trump would license his name to buildings that others would construct. And a new source of income was also helping to replace the dried-up credit lines from wary banks: the vast wealth accumulated by the nascent capitalists of the former Soviet Union.

The developer that helped turn both the licensing idea and the inflows from ex-Soviet states into reality was a group called Bayrock, based on the 24th floor of Trump Tower. Bayrock was founded by Tevfik Arif, a businessman of Kazakh origin, who worked in the Soviet administration before coming to the US, where he teamed up with Mr Sater.

Bayrock’s Moscow idea came to nothing, but money from the former Soviet Union did start to flow into Trump ventures in copious quantities. “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Donald Trump Jr told a real estate conference in 2008, adding: “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

It kept flowing. A Reuters tally published in March found that 63 Russians, some with political connections, had spent $100m buying property at seven Trump-branded luxury towers in Florida.

Unbelievable. Instead of smacking down Putin for meddling in our election, we’re going to work together to make sure this doesn’t happen again? Maybe we should just give them direct access to our systems.
