Watch Commander Hope’n’Change grinning from ear to ear at these completely un-funny jokes.

Yeah, not as funny as the Turkish TV show “black face” that ONLY you found absolutely hilarious.

Wishing someone to die is never funny. Especially when it is a joke made at a fucking White House dinner. Sykes was out of line. I ask you, what if it were Limbaugh that made a ‘joke’ like “I wish Michelle Obama’s kidneys would fail”? Limbaugh would be drawn and quartered.

That fact that the dear leader find this funny in the least shows just how ‘classy’ he really is.

I think public apologies are in order.
What if these comments were made by Limbaugh…you’d be all over the forum “lolz!!!..haha…pwned…fucking hilarious!” Somehow I find that if it were Obama on the receiving end…it wouldn’t be said as an obvious joke. Was it bad taste? Yes. Reason to be butt hurt over it? No. Who takes Wanda Sykes,a comedian, seriously? I can’t stand her myself. I’m sure people will be calling for Obama’s head for what came out of her mouth…not his own. Public apologies are probably coming…but hell, who cares?

This is like being concerned about a mosquito on your arm…when you have a knife in your neck. Just as the “issue” of Michelle’s kicks…pathetic.

I like the guy. Smart cookie. I can confirm this when I look at this thread and see who despises him.

I stopped listening to Rush years ago. Not because I have a problem with him, just because I know his views on an issue. My time spent listening to him was maybe 1991 to 1995 or so.

One thing he has done that was not there before was provide a balance to the drivel from the mainstream media. He was huge a decade or more before Hannity, beck, etc.

Now if I’m riding around I’ll listen to Andrew Wilkow and Hannity on Sirius. I like Mark Levin, but his voice annoys me. There’s a guy on before Wilkow, I forget his name who I’ll listen to if I get out of the office early for lunch.

I did most of my listening back in the 90s too. I have no A.M. radio where I live now.
AM is iffy where I live also. There is a local station that carries him, but I’m liking my Sirius now and I never listen to commercial radio anymore.

WOW! I’m glad you know me so well!

Yeah buddy, I don’t remember the last time Limbaugh made a joke about someone’s death… Nope, he has never made a joke about someone dying. If Limbaugh ever said on his show that he wishes for anyone to die, beleive me my friend, I would be one of the first to call him out.

Obviously you care a great deal. The fact that your great leader can sit back and have a chuckle over a joke about the death of a private citizen speaks volumes about the character of the man himself. The fact that you are so quick to defend him shows your character as well. Do you want Limbaugh to die? Hey, there are a hundred people that I disagree with, but I certainly don’t wish death upon them.

The Obamas only care about the Obamas. It’s pathetic to deny that fact.

The fact that he said he hopes Obama fails really pisses me off. He also made crack jokes about running his SUV in his driveway all day on Earth Day, with all the lights on in his house. He is just a dick. There are some serious problems going on, and being a dick doesn’t help.

I do think that there are some valid points he does bring up, but this is more rare than common. How he never got prosecuted for his prescription drug bullshit is beyond me, but then again he is in politics so it isn’t show shocking.

Strong words. Let’s look at some actions… you certainly weren’t “the first” on the other thread…actually you haven’t posted anything there yet. I’m sure you’ll be on shortly, speaking of the “character” of those who defend that man, right?

Here, let me help you with that mosquito.

Dude, please…you’re the last person on these forums to be a good judge of character…especially mine. Thanks for the laugh.

It took me a minute to find out what you were referring to…I guess he hasn’t read that particular thread.

Running his SUV all day in his driveway would not be close to all the private jet emissions from inauguration day, even if it did do anything bad. By about 45,000 years less of emissions.

His prescription drug abuse was handled like it was handled. Different venues will have different sentences for different reason related to the evidence in that case.

But is that worse that electing a mayor who was caught smoking crack on video with a prostitute? Or nominating a tax cheat for treasury secretary? That’s liberalism for you.

On January 16, 2009 Limbaugh read a letter on his radio show that he had received a request from a national print outlet: … “If you could send us 400 words on your hope for the Obama presidency, we need it by Monday night, that would be ideal.” He responded, “I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.” He explained that he didn’t want “absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work.” He continued, “what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here.”

What is so controversial about saying he hopes Obama’s plans, if they include increased size and power of government, fails?

Limbaugh later said [39] it is President Obama’s policies that he wants to see fail, not the man himself. Speaking of Obama, Limbaugh said, "He’s my president, he’s a human being, and his ideas and policies are what count for me.

How many people who hate him actually have listened to him? You wouldn’t just trust hearsay would you? I mean you wouldn’t take it on faith that the media is telling the truth on him would you? You would want to be certain you don’t like what he says based on specifics right. What did he say that you do not like, specifically?

You never heard what he actually said then, because he never said that.

They actually did, Bush was heavily criticized for his left leanings by conservatives.
