Ron Paul Wins RLC Straw Poll

Wrong, I’ve already explained to you the number of votes that Paul has behind him, 3 million tops. And if you think that they are all going to blindly vote for Obama when he represents the exact opposite of Paul you’re smoking something that you shouldn’t be. As I said, some of the die hards, like you who are young and bitter will vote for Obama, but most will either stay home or vote for the republican, and…IT WON’T BE PAUL!

One day…a long time from now when you mature you’ll look back at some of your posts and laugh as hard as I am doing right now.

Ron Paul supporters won’t vote Republican. You are already seeing the supporters on this board saying they will stay home and the more hardcore Libertarians like myself voting against the GOP.

3 million votes missing from the GOP in a close election is the recipe for failure. But if there is one thing this little talk has shown me, is the Big Tent GOP is a joke.

First of all, you and two or three of the other rabid Paul supporters doesn’t really amount to diddly, and I hope you know that. The Paul vote will fall as I predicted it to fall. Secondly, the next time that you throw all of your support (and ample emotion) behind a candidate make sure that the candidate in question actually has a chance of winning. What you’ve done can be chalked off to youthful exuberance with a great deal of inexperience thrown in. And as I’ve stated if you look at who the Paul supporters are you are not alone. Mostly young and male 20 something’s. Look, it’s great your participating, but your guy will come in so far from the top that he’ll need a ladder to see who came in third. So get ready to help your man Obama gain a second term. I make money regardless of who sits in the oval office and unlike you I have no emotional capital invested. So you and your mighty band of bitter 20 something’s do your worst—Cause…Paul aint winning Bub!

LOL…care to elaborate on exactly which corporate constituencies are supporting the candidates that you speak of? Or are you just mimicking what you’ve heard some the wacko’s say on T Nation?

[/quote]

This is a list of a few companies that will support any candidate that they think will help their bottom line.

Big deal. They have a right to express themselves by giving to whicever candidate they think is best. No different than you or I do. Are you intimidated that they have more than you? Well, they also do more than you do for society by employing thousands (sometimes millions) of people. They turn the economy. What did you do today to help the economy? Right! Besides for every 100-k given to the democrats there is usually 100-k given to the republicans. It’s a nice balance. That’s the two party system that we are all a part of.

You only hurt yourself with your bunker style infatuation with Ron paul…who CANNOT WIN! I give them credit for trying to manipulate the system in their favor. You should do the same thing. Get off your ass and actually support a candidate who can win and you will then be heard.

You Paulies are a riot. One thing for sure you don’t allow reality to get in the way of your fun.
