Ron Paul On The Record

If you hate America and it’s constitution so much, it’s better to just leave.
Find a totalitarian CIA backed regime ( so many thirld world countries to choose from) and try living there for a few weeks; you will soon realise freedom is never worth sacrificing for security.

If you ever comeback, make sure you read the constitution upon crossing the American border, because this country was founded by patriots, not sheeple like you.

Ad hominem.

Attacking Afghanistan was textbook self-defense. What’s your point?

Ron Paul thinks it was a mistake although he voted for it. I am not really sure what he thinks a better solution was except his ridiculous letters of marque.

It’s thanks to dicks like you that guys like Dr. Paul get shit upon by mainstream republicans. You’d be best served by shutting your mouth until you at least get to know some of the people on here before questioning their loyalty to their country. I have some serious disagreements with Zap, HH, JeffR, Lifty, Hundo and Mick, among others, but I have yet to feel the need to call their patriotism into question.

You sir, hurt your cause and mine.

I hate to interrupt this entertaining stream of bitching and moaning about who loves America and hates Osama more, but I think people need to wake up and realize that if you are voting for a candidate based on vague foreign policy stances, then you are wasting your vote.

We have serious problems here at home and they need fixing. I know everyone here at T-Nation is up in arms over the FDA trying to control which supplements you can buy. Well, as far as I can see, Ron Paul is the only candidate on both sides who is even willing to touch this issue. In fact, he has been outspoken about his disdain for the FDA, as well as the USDA, which keeps supplying us with tainted (but cheap!) meat and destructive agricultural practices which are unprofitable on all but the largest scales.

Our personal freedom to decide our own health and nutrition are being eroded, and yet I come to T-Nation to find people arguing over what we should do in Iraq. Come on people, granted the war on terror and the Iraq conflict are serious issues, but let’s put it in perspective. Unless you are personally serving in the military then you should really be concerned about how the government is affecting your everyday life, including the food you eat, the choices you want to make about your personal health, and the natural world you interact with.

I am still undecided about which douchebag to vote for, but Ron Paul is at least speaking my language: less government intervention, especially when it comes to health and nutrition. I don’t want my food and my supplements to be controlled by a faceless bureaucracy designed to support the flawed agriculture and pharmaceutical systems we have in place.

This is T-Nation fer chrissakes. This should be the front and center issue!

Nice write up.
I liked this blogger response on that page “That’s so stupid, “odds be damned”. It’s not a football game, you don’t get to feel proud of yourself because you “picked the winner.” It’s the future of your country. If you vote for anyone besides Ron Paul then you really have thrown away your vote, because you could’ve voted for a good man and you didn’t.”

Also the logic in write up is flawed when he says that the same 35,000 can’t drive the campaign any higher. The problem is that not enough people have heard of Paul thanks to mainstream media neglect but if the funds can be raised and he can buy exposure, more will surely join America’s last chance for change.

Well said SwordThrower. No one that pisses on Paul’s campaign can argue that. No candidate is more interested in your freedom of choice in the supplements category than Paul and given that this is T-Nation you would think more would recognize that.

OLD FART,who exactly died and made you the depositary of the “patriot” meaning?

You consider yourself and others like ZAP patriots or loyal ?

Loyalty is due to the country, not the administration or the president, OLD FART.

When a war is waged on false pretenses and American soldiers and innocent civilians are being butchered or dying a slow chemical death for a grotesque lie, it is the duty of the patriot and the people loyal to THEIR COUNTRY to rise and speak truth to power.

This war is the most monumental mistake in foreign policy since the beginning of America; the instigators should be tried and convicted for war crimes under the Geneva conventions and put to death, for they have committed the ultimate crime.
The supporters of the Iraq war need to be exposed for what they are; spineless cowards too afraid to challenge their evil governement or abject opportunist hoping ( in vain) for cheap oil paid for in other’s people blood.

I truly despise your kind, OLD FART.

LISTEN TO ME VERY CAREFULLY, OLD FART.

IT WILL BE A COLD DAY IN HELL WHEN YOU AND I SHARE THE SAME CAUSE.

TRAITORS LIKE YOU NEED NOT BE WELCOMED IN A COMMON CAUSE, BUT EXPOSED FOR THE BIGGOTS THEY ARE AND SPAT ON AT SIGHT.

PS:I write my apology in the eventuality my feelings toward your likes has not been expressed clearly enough.

Dude, I think what Mikey was trying to say is that you make supporters of Ron Paul look bad by calling people out like you were and on this forum Ron Paul is the cause, Mikey supports Ron Paul so yes you are talking about the same cause.

Then you come on with a left field “OLD FART” reference, misuse the word investigator instead of instigator, and generally sound like an undereducated fucking idiot and give credence to people like Mick that think all Ron Paul supporters are clueless teenagers. YOU ARE NOT HELPING THE CAUSE OF RON PAUL OR PATRIOTISM WHEN YOU SPOUT OFF LIKE THIS!!

We know…we know…if only more people could hear about Ron Paul they’d immediately fall in love with him. They’d love that shrill voice, and the way he rambles on about dismantling the federal government and pulling every American solider out of Iraq with no thought or plan. Hey…what’s not to like right? That damn media, they’re always ignoring those who have less than 5% in all of the legitimate national polls.

It must be a conspiracy…right?

Yes…that’s what it is.

Mick,

What about the people like you and I who have heard his “message” and soundly reject it?

Wait, we are the “sheep” and the “establishment.”

What a dean-like waste of money.

Wait, it’s not dean-like. howard “arrgghhh” dean actually had part of his party’s support.
Mick28 wrote:It must be a conspiracy…right?

Yeah, i agree with you on this point. Conspiracies don’t exist.
Or rather, they do exist, but only when the perpetrators are muslims or black and the victims are westerners or white.

He was talking about true americans wanting their country to get better. You need not be concerned.

What plan did they have when they marched in ?

EXACTLY!

And where was FEMA when Katrina devasted New Orleans ?

And how many thousands New Yorkers will die a slow and painful death because they believed what EPA’s spokeswoman said about the air being safe to breathe ?

How many 911 warnings did the CIA deliberately ignore?

You just can’t make that stuff up.

You like bureaucracy ?

Suit yourself.

And how many more airtime did Juliani, Mc Cain and Romney receive during the debates than Ron Paul ?
How about deciding to pull the results of online polling ?

How about the ridiculous attacks of Hannity on Paul after the debates?
jeffdirect wrote:

All the ones that don’t die a quick death. Much like everyone else.

Should the EPA have told them not to breathe?

From Ron Paul to the contributors:
[i]
November 6, 2007

Amazing! I have to admit being floored by the $4.2 million dollars you raised yesterday for this campaign. And unlike the fatcat operations of the opposition, the average contribution from our 36,672 donors was $103.

I say “you raised,” because this historic event was created, organized, and run by volunteers. This is the spirit that has protected American freedom in our past; this is the spirit that is doing so again.

Some of the mainstream media have sat up and taken notice. Others have pooh-poohed our record online fundraising. But the day is coming–far faster than they know–when they will not be able to ignore our freedom revolution.

We are working hard, with you, to spread our message far and wide-in New Hampshire, in South Carolina, in Iowa, and in every other state with a primary. And people are listening.

As you and I know, there is hope for America-in liberty and peace, and the prosperity they bring. There is hope for America–in a sound dollar, the rule of law, and the Constitution. There is hope for America–in a people’s revolution that brings us all together, of whatever race and age and background.

What momentum we have! Please help me keep it up. As you and I know, and our opponents are only suspecting, we have Success on our minds, and in our hearts.

Freedom! Surely it is worth all our hard work. Please help me continue to do that work, with your continuing support https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate

Without your help, this campaign would be dead in the water. Help us keep steaming towards victory.

Sincerely,

Ron

They should have told the truth.
But prople like you hate the word.
You’re just another hater of the basic rights of the people, as being protected by the institutions they sustain .
