Romney vs. Santorum; It's ON!

I…just, never mind.

Might as well elect that ham sandwich and write an apology letter to the next couple of generations.

I almost touched that one too.
Yep. Started to, but upon re-reading that statement I realized it would be a waste of time.

This has been forcing Republicans to move even further to the right. >>>
Right when I was beginning to develop a minimal glimmer of respect for your increasingly worthy contributions here and then this. This statement defies any attempt at proper address except to say… NO!!! (shakes head with emphasis)

EDIT: I see that not surprisingly, others caught this as well.

And I’m not at all surprised at the reaction.

Let’s face it, I predicted it.

Mitz, if you expressed the sky was green but yet “predicted” other folks would find fault with it claiming the darn thing might just be blue how does that help you?
Nice try. But the sky is blue in my world.

I’m pretty sure that you have poaka dots dancing above you.

Really, this isn’t going to go anywhere. I’m not even a little bit upset either.

Continue on with your bashing if you all must.

I think that we can all agree that both parties will have “fringes”.

The question is who “Wags the Dog”, and moves the party to those fringes.

Back to my statement about “moral compass” , invoking greater powers, etc.

Let’s leave President Obama out of the discussion (just for the moment…); because almost any conservative will be “more moral” in most of your eyes when compared to the President.

So let’s think about that Conservative Stalwart Ronald Reagan.

I think Reagan can illustrate my point better, so I will pose it to “PWI” as a question:

Agree or disagree with him politically…most felt that he was a moral man.

And maybe it was just because I was young…but why did you never feel preached to and judged by Reagan? Why could he inspire religious people…without wearing his own religion like some huge hammer and sickle to smite people with who didn’t believe the same way?

“Without God, there is no virtue, because there’s no prompting of the conscience. Without God, we’re mired in the material, that flat world that tells us only what the senses perceive. Without God, there is a coarsening of the society. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”

I did NOT bash. I refrained.
That was you refraining? Okay.

Honestly, I have not at any time tried to hide my views. My views in this particular forum are way outside of that of most of the other posters here.

Which, in reality, the reason I come here. Is to hear what the voices on the other side of the spectrum are saying.

I expect to be mocked here. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Surely you’re innocent of that very crime, aren’t you?
Not sure what you are trying to get at here? I do expect it, and I am so not upset, mad or angry about it.

I am really not taking any of this personally. I’m finding it quite amusing.

Goldwater supporters rallied for Reagan, no?

Who are the possibilities, Push…and does it vary with who gets the nomination?
