Robbed for Fried Chicken

I agree that the network shouldn’t of showcased that to the world, definately stupid.
I don’t really understand how everyone actually thought it was real…like to me it almost looked played out with the guy in camo and the “flute” n all. Just for show.

On a side note…I don’t like the fact that the black woman said…probably a crackhead who got a hold of the wrong stuff…it’s just bad, stereotypes…they really didn’t have to put that in the clip.

Although somewhat funny, shame on that network, and making them look bad. fuckin idiots.

What link? There isn’t one. It was an old racist stereotype that black newly freed slaves in the South simply enjoyed nothing better than watermelon and fried chicken. The truth is, shit like that was cheap and easy to make/find. It would be like saying people who live in the projects LOVE food stamps and government cheese.

You found stereotypes like that on those old Little Rascals tv shows.

Since you can get an entire bucket of chicken from KFC for like 10 bucks, chances are, anyone low on funds will hit it up on a regular basis.

First, where was it said that they were black? Second, even if they were black, if people are still holding an entire race responsible for dumb shit that individuals do (especially when no race was even given), we have way bigger problems than this.

I lived in New Orleans for 7 years and I admit it has made me somewhat racist towards the “gangsta” black guys. Anytime I hear about a crime I immediately assume a black person did it after living in that area. Gangs galore down there…

Sorry!

A black male is more likely to be (have been) incarcerated than a white male. That is not a stereotype; that is a fact. However, it would be a stereotype to suggest any crime that occurs is likely from a black male, because due to the population size of white males there are nearly as many white males incarcerated as there are black males. So, a greater percentage of the black male population is incarcerated than white males but the total numbers are about the same.

You or anyone can draw whichever interpretation or conclusion you would like from the aforementioned.
