So in other words it’s just more of the same old communist tactics that have been used over and over. I suppose now there is a wider variety of media and entertainment to be used for those purposes so it might be harder for the average person to resist the brainwashing, in most communist countries it seems like people went along with the bullshit because otherwise they were at risk of imprisonment or death but now useful idiots are more plentiful than ever.
I donno. Part of me thinks this is a dream come true, to justifiably beat ass and take a life time of rage out on some BLM terrorists.

To drill down a bit, I wouldn’t deliberately seek conflict, but if it happened to darken my doorstep, well you came to me, damn the media narrative. I have every right to defend myself and if I get to beat down on some skinny, pasty-white, booger-eating communist shithead, well its just therapeutic.
But the other side of me wants peace and maintain peace. Turn the other cheek and walk away.
The former will make me feel good for a few minutes, the latter is just smarter and will pay off in the long run with 4 more years of Trump.
That’s actually better. But the chance to justifiably beat down some ANTIFA dickheads is also kinda fun too. Just to let them know, there are people it’s not wise to fuck with. I am conflicted… In the end I hope to do the right thing. But if they started to hurt innocent people who cannot defend themselves, the angry version will dominate.
My temperament at the time of engagement would play a role. I am a long fuse kinda guy. I do not get angry easy and am willing to let most things go. But the fuse is attached to a MOAB. When I do finally lose it, I lose it hard.

Maher is one to talk, he was calling them peaceful protests and decrying 'Trump’s secret police’s a couple of weeks ago. He’s totally late to the game.
He’s losing his touch. I was expecting him to say something about this when he came back on air after the riots were already 70+ days in. Nope, “peaceful protests and orange man bad”.

More importantly, notice that I was talking about Rick Wilson’s “woke shitheads” comment that happened on Maher’s show. I wasn’t referring to Maher’s comments as at this point I don’t even remember what he said during that segment. Wilson’s comments were LOL funny to me.
edit to add: I am a fan of Maher’s show as I’ve said before. He’s substantially farther left than me, not hard to do since I’m right/center. But, he takes both sides to task often and he’s not a cheerleader for the Democrats. He’s got few supporters from the far left or right which in my book means he’s doing something right.
Well off the top of my head, it was the first episode after his summer break. So it was definitely August. I will try to look for the episode but if you want to look at the first and second week after his summer break.

You make a good point, which is why we need to anti-trust Amazon, Alphabet (Google), twitter and Facebook. They control most of the digital space right now and wield way too much economic power and political influence. We need to make the phrase “Google it” obsolete.
