Republicans - What Do You Think?

It’s like reading a paper written by a crackhead pledging to no longer smoke crack.

Anyone with sense won’t believe it. The people who care for the crackhead will give him another chance, and then be sorely disappointed when he lights up the pipe. But they’ll defend him anyway.
You mean like when Obama promised “hope and change” and then didn’t deliver either, but enablers like YOU defend him anyway. You mean like that?
Show me where I’ve defended Obama?

I post on numerous forums, not sure if I’ve put my stance on Obama here, but if I haven’t he’s been a big disappointment and I wish I would have voted third party. So, no, not like that… But if you’d like, believe this bullshit pledge. They’re empty words that mean nothing other than to give the frustrated right a woody in their pants.

At this point a vote for a republican or democrat is a wasted vote.

Perhaps not, but when the current President - pandering to a caucus - announces that Mexicans were here long before America was an idea (Mexico became independent in about 1820), the gap closes exponentially as to the “dumb” canard.
Not to hijack, but Mexico just built it’s own wall on it’s southern border. Fucking hypocritical bitches…

I would love to forward an article like that to folks… but coming from resistnet.com, it won’t carry a lot of credibility. Any other sources?

One can only imagine the fit that the mainstream liberal media would have had if GW said such a thing.

You obviously don’t follow history. If the do what the republicans from 94’ did I’ll be happy. They brought Bill Clinton by hand to the middle of the road - even center middle - and it was good for the country. You’ll have to crack open those history books.

Yeah but once they got to the center they kept pulling to the right. I don’t want that anymore than I want what we have now.

I give you John and Ken, the most credible source of news EVER. These guys call out anyone and everyone who is jerking around the people.

I don’t see anything on term limits, SS, medicare/aid, or most important of all the federal reserve. I am all for term limits. Our reps avoid issues and make decisions based on getting reelected instead of doing what they think is right for the country. This is nothing more than a campaign tool. Put congress and the house on the same pension and medical plans they deem fit for us and watch how much changes. Seems to me like they are starting to hear some of the things being said, but they still aren’t listening.

I want to see: 1) Abolish the Federal Reserve 2) Decrease govt spending by 25% across the board 3) A bill that forces federal employees to pay the $1 billion in back taxes they owe(a small number in the grand scheme of things but meaningful nonetheless) 4) Pay decreases for all federal employees (on avg govt workers make 60% more http://internet-scam-busters.com/tag/government-pay-versus-private-pay ) 5) Close shop on 2/3 of the military bases we have in 170 countries throughout the globe (We aren’t the police of the world and aren’t getting paid to be)…just a few things to add to the ever expanding list of things that just aren’t right.

Agree 100 %. But of course doing this would be political suicide, which is why we won’t see this happen. Ever.

The only real kind of swing towards more or less government will come in the face of a real crisis. And then it could go either way.

I am amazed there are people willing to label themselves ‘Republican’ enough to respond to this thread.

I agree with you on all points… but it is too bad this will never, ever happen.

Of course it will.

You are already broke, you just have not noticed yet.

So either the money fairy will bail you out or all of these things will happen.

You are right, but I think it will happen TEMPORARILY. It will only be a matter of time for the same fucking government to show up again.
