TO florelius what pointless shit are you talking about, specifics please?
well reactionarys complain about shit that are nothing compared to other shit that goes around.

example1: reactionarys complains about high taxes for the rich, when at the same time poor workers must have two jobs to make ends meet.

example2: reactionarys complains about unions, when at the same time the rich of the rich get a bigger an bigger income and the poor of the poor workers get a smaller and smaller income.

example3: reactionarys complain about how the health care reform treathens theire rights, when at the same the US army and Nato are overseas and trample on the rights and life of others.

example4: And finally, reactionarys complains about being called racist or fascist, when they at the same time celebrates the death of people who tried to cross your border.

sumasumarum: republicans/reactionarys need to get some perspetive.

LOL…I really, really have to stop spending so much time on T Nation…(shakes head) WOW.
I know, right? I’m trying to decide if his post was a win for making me laugh so hard, or a fail for being such ignorant kool-aid. That’s a toughie…
glad I made you laugh :stuck_out_tongue:

No sipping of kool-aid here, just observations from spending to much time at a forum that has
a majority of reactionarys or conservatives as they like to call themself.

The real subject here is perspectiv and distraction. As long people argue about symbolic issues like: taxes, religion, abortion, animal rights etc. the elite can sit safe an not worry about theire fortune and power. Its offcourse obvious that the social-liberals contribute to this, just think about richard dawkins and christopher hitchens moronic crusade against religion.

The real issues that should be debated are how can poverty be abolished, how to create world peace, how to make the society more democratic, but offcourse this issues are not debated that much, neither here nor in other channels for political disscurse and if they are debated, the debate often ends in socialism vs capitalism or something similar. ( I know I am to blame for this to ).

Blaming the actions of a deranged loser on either party is a FAIL, end of story.

I do think it’s stupid that Congress took the whole week off to focus on the shooting. Yes, it was a tragedy. But the entire country shouldn’t grind to a halt because of it.

The first thing I have read from you that made some degree of sense ^^^

Wow forlife I agree, it really is the end. Lol…great point

Why is Texas being overunned by businesses from all over the country…man is that so hard to figure out.

Hell I know alot of businessman and ladies who have moved in from all the democrat states because taxes are to freaking high my friend. Explain the logic on that. It boogles my mind that people who are smart want to support those who are not willing to help themselves. And you accusing corporations is dumb, they are in the business to make money not to give handouts, not to feed the useless. They are there to provide a service pitbull.

I think that there has generally been a bit more subtlety to what has been said in regards to culpability. I have yet to see anyone with a significant pulpit explicitly blame the Republicans or the Tea Party. What has been said in many different ways is that there is an overriding tone in our political debate that could well have contributed to what happened. It has also been pointed out that the origin of this tone is heavily weighted to the right end of the spectrum.

Of all people, the best reaction I have heard came from Al Sharpton, in an interview on NPR the other day. He related the story of how he had been the target of an attempted assassination but had publicly forgiven the actor and had in fact taken the time to converse with him while he served time. (they remain friends)

Not long after this incident, in the heat of a large crowd and an issue that was close to home form him, he said some things in a public forum that were inappropriately direct and could have been considered a call for violence. A few days later, the object of his words was attacked by one of the people attending the protest at which Sharpton had lost his cool.

Sharpton made the point that while he was not responsible or criminally liable for the actions of the attacker, he was responsible for his words. And, that given a public forum, he was responsible for moderating his tone. He suggested that anyone with a public forum who could not understand this subtle but heavy responsibility does not deserve their forum.

You are joking, that most violent rhetoric is coming from the right. It is coming from both sides. Always has.

No one is blaming the Republicans. the point is that rhetoric such as the republicans spew creates anger that anger migrates into other parts of American society.
