Probably not going to work with that tribe haha. I would guess that if they get 1 million a year just for existing, that other’s have tried to claim being part of the tribe.

You could probably get into another tribe that doesn’t have any payments though.

I met a black guy recently that was convinced he was native. Like really convinced. Showed me pictures of him with people from “his” tribe, in the full gear and feathers. Pretty sure his ancestors post slavery settled down on a reservation and assimilated (he was from a res in Tennessee IIRC). If you saw this guy, you’d know what I mean. There is absolutely no possibility of him being native.

Whenever I think those loons on Jan. 6 should be locked up, I see a picture like this and think maybe they were going to do us all a favor.

My main concern is that those are members of congress on bent knee bowing their heads to the original african slavers and wearing their tribal colors/robes.

Give credit where it’s due.

The Africans selling other Africans certainly played a major role. Just like Indians sharing a continent, Africa wasn’t a homogenous, koombaya singing summer camp.

I know plenty of white and black people who look totally white or totally black (much more of the former than the latter - not too many black people in my area) who have a Native grandparent or two, but just are largely something else so that’s what they appear to be. One guy I know has a Native dad and black mom and you wouldn’t know he’s half Native from looking at him.

They’re part of the same tribe. Wouldn’t have fought each other historically. @mnben87 is right - they got placed a few hours apart and one area become a metropolitan area while the other looks largely the same as it did 200 years ago.
