I have a Chinese character on my arm that I sort of regret. I am looking at options to get it covered.
LOL…when I come up with the remedy for this, I’ll let you know.
“And you know what? Let me tell you something about these tattoos, okay. That is Buddhist, that is Nordic, that is Hindu, that’s just gibberish. They are completely conflicting ideologies, and that does not make you a citizen of the world, it makes you full of shit!”

19 wasn’t my best year for sure.

Sarah Marshall… Great ass movie. Go see Get him to the Greek, pretty good too

I’ve seen that ^^^ so many places. Isn’t it “supposed” to mean POWER or something like that?
Strength/Power. It is also the logo for Ginsu knives.
I’m looking at getting it covered up later this year. Got my friend working on a little somethin right now actually. We’ll see what happens.
BTW to the above poster, I saw Get Him To The Greek and want my $7 and two hours of my life back. I didn’t think it was funny at all. Bottom of the barrel recycled jokes, awful plot twists, and just a lazy effort all around. I probably laughed twice the entire movie. Just an awful bloody film.

Haha. Awesome! I have a few friends who are good artists so I want to get them to mock something up.
When a tattoo artist does tattoos for 17-20yr olds, it should be something that comes off completely in a year or so. That way we can actually decide if it was worth it or not. haha

A guy getting some stupid armband is about as popular as a girl getting a tattoo on the small of her back.
I guess that that means I have the equivalent of a tramp stamp on my arm. In my defense I was 18 and I have had to enlarge it twice so it would fit my ever growing 19.5" arms…

See!! Now don’t you wish it had been a time release tattoo that disappears after a few years so you can reevaluate? Time to nerd it up and invent something…

Honestly, I don’t really mind it. I think it’s stupid but most days it doesn’t even cross my mind and it gives me a reminder that I’m not always as smart as I think I am.
Exactly! While I am not exactly proud of my tattoo, I don’t go through my day going “life would be so much better if I did not have this!”
It just serves as a reminder for me to think things through a little bit more else I end up with a Dick Fountain on my back or something…
I got a dragon tattoo on my shoulder when I was 20. It didn’t hold any special meaning; I just picked it out of a book when I got there. Looking back on it, I wasn’t doing it so much for myself, but because I was in the middle of a major identity crisis and looking to fit into a group. When I look at it now it just reminds me of how lost I used to be and the dangers of trying to fit in with the crowd.
However, this also causes me to get a little pissy when people I don’t know want to know, “what it means”. Fuck you. I’ve known you for 3 seconds and I really don’t feel like disclosing the more personal parts of my psyche at a ball game. I’ve taken to just telling people that I get a tattoo every time I drown a kitten.

I really hate to say it but yea, ink that lasts 3-5 years is a fucking great idea! I’m going to guess a lot of people would think it was weak but O well!

Well it would only be for younger people. I figure once you are older you have thought out your decisions a little bit more and know what is meaningful to you. There are obviously exceptions to that but I haven’t seen anyone here say “I got this done at 45 and now regret it.” So older people can get the real thing.
