Correct. Avia S-199 derivative,from Czechoslovakia. Basically, they were making ME-109s for the Nazis, had left over airframes at the end of the war and stuck in some sort of huge bomber engine. Faster, but almost completely unstable and too much weight forward for a tail-dragger.

Horrid plane, but the irony of Israel using it when the Jodanians and arabs invaded in 1948 is high.
