Ruger No 1 in 270 Winchester? I’m bad with cartridges.

hmmm, I believe the rifle is a Ruger No. 1
That cartridge is a doozy . . .
Oh, and the high wall is truly a gentleman’s rifle.
338 Lapua? if so - how did you get that chambering?
25-06 Remington?
ahhh, sounding like a .338 RUM - am I closer?
oh, just saw your other note - sweet round!

The falling block action is indeed nice to have with this cartridge which is propelling that 250 gr. Barnes X copper bullet at 3100 fps at the muzzle. That’s 5350 ft/lbs MV.
At 300 yards it still has more energy than a 30.06 180 gr. has at the muzzle.

My psychic powers are weak. I figured being in Montana, you were using that beauty for prairie dog hunting. Although… it might be even better this way.

This is soviet bloc, anti-aircraft, SA-8?
I"m going for the Janes combat vehicles.

You got it! I thought would take a little longer because of the paint scheme - good eye.
A small, mounted radar system checks for incoming threats. If positive, it computes the path. It then chooses one of two (or three ?) installed shotgunlike weapon systems to destroy the missile.
I’d be interested to know:
how crew health might be endangered by constant radar use?
how reliable it is under combat conditions. How much energy does it need? If you park your tank in a warzone for the day, can you leave it on “standby” 24/7?
how easy it’d be to bypass it firing two or three missiles simultaneously?
