Good question… we do major shopping for a family of 4 every 2 weeks and it runs me about $280/ trip. That’s with no soda, maybe 2 packages of cookies, no ice cream, no junk food. I buy odd things during the week as we need them.
I was friends with this girl in school, her mother had that fear of leaving home, agrophobia or something like that. She looked very much like that lady, wonder if she has the same thing.

I went food shopping Saturday, spent like $278. Good steaks for a family of 4 ran me about $23. Overall, the price of beef is through the roof. I go for deals on chicken and pork more often than not. Oh yeah, I could save a lot of coin my buying Kraft Mac 'n Cheese dinners and frozen pizza, maybe really splurge on cases of Chef Boyardee raviolis.

I have to admit I don’t know what a lot of the foods she’s eating are so I don’t know how cheap they are, I’ll take your word for it.
But I’ve seen shows about massively obese people in the UK and it baffles me where the money comes from. Case in point: I watched a show about your typical, practically bedridden fat guy, who ate (among other things) 12 takeaway pizzas a week. 12 pizzas from Dominos in a week comes in at around £180! And that was just the tip of his gluttony iceberg.
Crazy stuff, seems like if you really want to push the envelope in terms of fatness you need some kind of trust fund
