I’ve seen several EDT workouts that pair the MILITARY PRESS with the PULLUP as antagonistic pairings.
(They do a lat-focused workout at other times.)
Why is the PULLUP considered antagonistic to the MILITARY PRESS?
Thanks
John

It’s simply a matter of the movement planes being the same, not necessarily exact antagonist muscle groups.

One’s a vertical push, the other is a vertical pull.
