Comments:
I’m 38 and too f’ing old to lift per my wife (not her exact words but that’s what she meant). Married 10 years and I still haven’t mastered the art of saying, “Yes, dear” with enough false sincerity that she’ll believe me.

Gotta clean up my diet. BF% was measured with a Tanita 2001 scale.

Seated calf raises were performed with the Smith machine attachment and a calf block. I’m in debt up to my ears with my current gym and couldn’t afford a seated calf machine. I also ran out of space.

Blew out my back 08/02/03 when I went overboard with deadlifts, squats & leg presses. Kaiser said that it was just a strain & prescribed physical therapy and Vicodin. I had constant pain from the top of my pelvis (in back) radiating down thru my glutes & hamstrings. My left side got better after 6 months (95% recovered) but my right side is still f’ed up (75% recovered). I still can’t stay still in one position for longer than 15 minutes without my right side aching. Still haven’t used the Vicodin yet and it’s probably expired by now. Stopped going to physical therapy after 3 months because it didn’t help.

Time to shut up and get back to work.

The Red Kat/Tribex mix is the way to go. I tried each one separately with mixed results. Together, I’m feeling all of the effects I associate with increased T : sex drive through the roof, more energetic, agressive, motivated. I just finished the last of my Red Kat/Tribex supply, so I can’t wait to try out Alpha Male. It works out to be over 30% cheaper than what I’ve been paying at Vitamin Shoppe.

With any new supplement, the potential placebo affect must be factored in, so it’s always good to get outside feedback. A blood test would probably be best, but in my case I got great feedback from my wife:

“Why do your balls look so huge?” she asked.

I showed her. 'Nuff said.

Day 2:

Caught some sort of flu bug that’s going around work. Heartburn, diarrhea, lethargy, and some nausea. Slept if off and felt better in the afternoon enough to jump rope for 5 minutes. 6 capsules of Alpha male & 3 ZMA. Couldn’t sleep all night.

Day 3:

Ater taking 3 capsules of Alpha Male, I finally fell asleep after 8AM. Got up at 12PM and hauled my tired ass into work. 3 more capsules at 4PM.

What I can’t believe is that I’m awake and alert when normally I would be dead on my feet. Hope it lasts until 3AM when I get to go home.

Lunch break workout:

Chin-ups & dumbbell bench press superset

Chin-up: 1 x Body Weight x 18
Chin-up: 6 x Body Weight x 6

Bench press: 1 x 120 x 18
Bench press: 6 x 120 x 6

Ran out of steam after the 1st superset and alternated 6 reps of chin-ups with 6 reps of dumbbell bench presses.

Dumbbell curl & dumbbell skullcrusher superset

Dumbbell curl: 3 x 50 x 6
Dumbbell skullcrusher: 3 x 50 x 6

Completely ran out of steam and time on this superset after the 3rd set of 6 reps with two 25LB dumbbells.

Went back into the gym 2 hours later and cranked out additional sets of:

Dumbbell curls: 2 x 50 x 12 and 2 x 50 x 6

Dumbbell skullcrushers: 1 x 50 x 6

My left tricep was fried and I called it a night.

So far, it’s only been the third day of Alpha Male for me. I haven’t noticed any effects of increased testosterone.

Time to quit goofing off and get back to work.

I started Alpha Male and Red Bands today. I am taking two (2) Red Band capsules at 6:00 a.m. and then doing forty (40) minutes of cardio. I then take two (2) Alpha Male capsules at around 7:00 followed by breakfast thirty (30) minutes later.

In the afternoon I take two (2) more Red Band capsules at 3:00 p.m. followed by two (2) Alpha Male capsules around 4:00 p.m. I then go to the gym around 5:00 p.m. and get in an hour session or so. I take a creatine drink along for during the workout and follow the workout up with a protein shake.

As of this morning I was 236 lbs. and 21% bodyfat. I hope to lose bodyfat and build a little more muscle on this cycle.

I plan to do this cycle for two (2)weeks and then I am leaving for a weeks vacation. I plan to resume another two (2) week cycle when I return from my vacation. Any thought on that???

Any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I felt very energized today and felt like I had an awesome workout tonight at the gym.

Just thought I’d add this…I’m going to take the Alpha Male for five (5) days on and two (2) days off…Monday through Friday with the weekends off.

I’m on my second full day of taking Alpha Male. Last night was my first workout since beginning. I haven’t felt any warmness, horniness or any of the other effects that some have experienced, but my workout was phucking awesome. On bench press I felt like I’ve never felt before. I didn’t even want to wait a minute in between sets. I normally have someone spot me on my 4th and last set and last night was no different except for the fact that my spotter didn’t even touch the bar. I felt like I was going to throw the weight through the roof. I am pumped (pardon the pun) about getting to the gym tonight to see how I feel.

I have been taking Alpha Male for about three days. I am having a hard time figuring out how to take it on an empty stomach, as the instructions suggest. I can push my morning meal back half an hour. But it takes four hours for the stomach to empty after a meal. I never go that long between meals. So when do I take the second dose? Any strategies that seem to be working for you all? How important is it that your stomach be empty?

The reason behind taking supplements like this on an empty stomach is to avoid weighing them down with food. So, all you really need to do is take them 30 minutes prior to eating or an hour or two afterward.

Cuffs07,

Using it for four continuous cycles might be better than two cycles with a week off followed by another two cycles. That’s just my interpretation of the label.

Due to my work schedule, I usually wake up at 8AM, take 3 capsules and go back to sleep. My second serving is around 4PM or 8 hours later. If my stomach isn’t entirely empty, I don’t sweat it since nothing is ever perfect.

Whether an empty or full stomach has any affect on absorbtion is unknown. Today is Day 5 for me and I still haven’t noticed any effects yet.

Day 4:

3 capsules of Alpha Male at 8AM
3 capsules of Alpha Male at 4PM
3 capsules of ZMA at 12AM

Deadlifts: 1 x 100 x 18, 6 x 100 x 6
Standing Calf Raises: 3 x 200 x 18
Lying Leg Curls (1 Leg) 1 x 30 x 18, 6 x 30 x 6
Hanging Knee Raises: 1 x BW x 18, 6 x BW x 6

Performed 1 set of 18 rep deadlifts which pretty much fatigued me. Followed up with 6 sets of 6 reps with as little rest in between the sets as possible. Same thing happened after the first set of leg curls and knee raises.

My abs are out of shape and I only managed a measly six pikes before switching to knee raises.

Standing calf raises were performed with the Smith attachment on my Monster Rack along with a Manta Ray squat pad and calf block.

Still no sign of any effects yet.

I have been taking three Alpha Male and three Red Bands for 4 days now. I don’t notice anything different so far. I am thinking of trying 6 of the Alpha Male at a time and see if that makes a difference. Think this could really cause any complications?

I’ve read somewhere in T-mag that you definitely don’t want to exceed the recommended dosage for Red Kat, so this likely applies to Alpha Male as well.

If anything, you may want to cut your dosage back to 2 caps twice per day and be a bit more patient. I’ve found that this dosage works best for me.

I am about to start my last week of AM (used Mon-Fri, 3 caps 2X day). I like the product and will be using it as my PCT from now on. I didn’t get any immediete boost in energy or horniness, matter of fact I didn’t feel any different during the day at all, but I did feel much stronger in the gym and was easily able to get up to 90% of the lifts I hit after my last cycle. I usually crash like a brick through a plate glass window, and training while “off” most of the time is a chore, but Alpha Male changed all that. I’m completely sold, and recommend it wholeheartedly.

I forgot to mention this is the only bottle of AM I’ve used thus far. So for me to get back up to 90% within three weeks of using one product is a helluva testimonial for Alpha Male.

All I know is I’m only taking half the dosage (two caps every 6-8 hrs) and I get agitated a lot more easily now.

Just thought I’d bump this thread and see how the Alpha Male users are getting on. I’m thinking of getting some and I’d be interested to hear any updates.
