Whe i boguht one of these from Wayne, it was 180 quid, he did mention a rise in the price of the steel he uses being responsible for the increase in price. He does sell other equipment aswell which is pretty good value imo. Only thing i found wrong with the prowler was the uprights hadn’t had any rust proofing seeing as they aint painted. Bar that i thought the service was very good.
Having one of these back in Swansea would have been sweet. Like a one man scrummaging machine.
I could keep one in my garage but I’d have to use it out in the car park - would it survive that sort of abuse or would I have to find a grassy clearing somewhere? The car park is pretty out of the way anyway so not really worried about a bit of noise.

LOL, I’m not bothered! Sounds awesome, will have to add one to the rapidly increasing variety of conditioning tools in my garage.
That’s a lot cheaper than the only other UK prowler I was aware of:
I think I’m going to get someone to make one for me. Probably work out a hell of a lot cheaper.
LR
used mine for the first time today (bloody weather and mud), dont mind about it being not an exact copy of EFS, it kicked my arse so hard im shitting out my ears
i dont actually have any olympic plates at the mo (whoops!) but im running widths of football (soccer) pitches on grass, and its cool. i would say get a minimum of four (2 each side) for now, but check it out on the surface you will be using first
this is my homemade creation

Have only used it once on wet grass so limited experience but I found that the prowler got quite caked in mud and the speed got slower as mud built up on the rails
Will be interested in your experiences

Oh shit, does that mean that I’ll ruin the public park at the back of my house, lol?

Probably LOL
But what’s the difference with what you’re doing to kids playing footy or cycling?
