It was a good thing politically. Do you realize how many voters he turned off by that move?
I’m hoping you’re right, but when election time rolls around I think this will still be a nonissue and will not swing any significant number of votes.

Edit - Like you always say, most people don’t even pay attention to the election until a couple weeks before election day.

Well, you make a good point, or wait a minute, I make a good point. Anyway, this is just a bit different. You have now walked into every police officers home and spit directly in their face. I am good friends with a few cops and they are livid over this. Granted that doesn’t mean that they all are. But I would doubt very highly that they look at this as favorable. And while most are not paying attention yet, a move like this gets the attention of those it most effects ie the police officer.

Well, I guess we’ll see Lank

Do people just take any thread and argue it with insults and egos regardless of the purpose of the thread? Staying on topic shouldn’t be that big of a deal for adult human being. The purpose of this thread was to discuss and break down the methods used is debates/discussion and, in particular, critique the effectiveness of this one. It has since broken down into yet another thread of bickering over semantics and who can seemingly gain higher ground…that doesn’t bore anyone else?
You must be new around here…

…But a remarkably fast learner.

First of all it was not our assignment. Secondly you break out demographics more specifically than that. If you’re going to do another person’s assignment at least do it right. And it matters not who your grandfather likes (eye roll) I am talking about hard statistics.

Now run along.
So the fuck what? You got an answer that you didn’t like and have therefore found a way to dismiss it. Go figure.

Liar! Replace ‘most’ with ‘all who disagree with me.’

I consider myself as liberal and I read your posts because you sometimes write something worthwhile. I enjoy reading the views of others and find that I benefit from opposing viewpoints. However, you marginalize yourself when you attack the person instead of the point. That is my point.

Ummmmm… yeah, I recently read a post where you admitted to just that. Do you really need me to dig it up?

Yes, I do consider your views elitist. You are consistent in this. That is okay though. We could still be friends.

Where is the fun in mocking someone who acknowledges a statement in need of being mocked? Really??? This is your answer.

Anyone younger than me? ANYONE? Do you want to rephrase that I think you’ve made another one of your many errors here.
Again, really??? This is what you are going with? Take a look at your answers and find your own grammatical errors. (hint, you can see it in your eye’s.)

Christine:

The only grammatical errors I can see are yours. One is in the same sentence where you provide a ‘hint’ about someone else’s alleged grammatical errors. Hint: I can see it in your ‘eye’s(sic)’. Another is in a quote alleging dismissiveness of ‘20 something’s(sic)’.

LOL

She can’t even use the quote function so the rest of her drivel is really meaningless.

It was an entertaining exchange. Of course people are going to side with the presenter with whom they agree with most. O’Reilly and Mr. Leibowitz didn’t “own” each other as their arguments were both successfully deflected. That Rubin Hurricane came up is a bit funny, because the man was never found innocent.
