Preworkout shake for 90 min sessions

On cycles my workouts last 90 minutes. When should I consume my pre workout shake - should I wait 20-30 min. since the workout is so long?

When doing 50-60 min workouts while off I go with the original recommendations by JMB but those don´t apply here or do they ?

The recommendations apply, start sipping at the beginning of the workout if you’re not sure and see what happens. If you don’t think you need it or you run out of drink before the end of our workout then start drinking 15m into your routine. Just figure what works best for you.
