Can anybody see ,like theoretically, possible future Pres. Trump sitting around a table with competent advisors, working these ideas out?
Like Pres Obama sits around with the yes men. And doesn’t listen to anyone who disagrees.
Instead, Trump claims that he’ll get teams of experts for everything. He’s meeting with that famous foreign policy dude today.
Does it seem like Trump would heed advice from somebody like Sen. Rubio?
Would that make any difference to anyone?
I’m not sure about Rubio specifically since Trump crushed his soul but you can’t exactly successfully erect huge casino buildings without constant advisory from experts and being surrounded by good people.
I’ll see if I can find articles specific to the ban, but the ramifications are the same. We ban them, they ban us, our allies would do lord knows what. You would lose out in numerous ways economically.
Are you purposefully being argumentative? That’s my opinion on how I believe the constitution reads. That’s what you asked for. Ya, they’d be confiscated now. That doesn’t mean it’s constitutional or right.

The preamble isn’t the law. It’s like the author acknowledge or what have you. It adds context, sure.

I apparently haven’t been very clear. My argument has never been that the Constitution applies to foreigners. My argument has always been that the Constitution limits Congresses legislative authority.
