The Latino vote has not determined one single election, nor has it affected any state in an election. Romney could have gotten every single Latino vote and he would have still lost, and not one state would have changed from blue to red.

My understanding is that the Conservative base stayed home, which would be mainly the white male vote. Trump did do his homework though, he learned that the base did not care for a candidate being the margarine of Conservatism, and they sent Romney down the road.
All the pundits and political geeks have been wrong at every turn in this campaign, so I fail to see why anyone would continue to listen to them any further.

I’m not discounting your post or your chart, and yes it seems every carbon based life form hates Trump. But he is pulling in voters by numbers that are downright mind boggling.
For every time I hear about Trump’s problems with women, Hillary is also failing with white men. The whole gender gap thing works both ways. This election is just screwy in every way an election can be.

You are correct but moreover Romney lost because a few million republicans stayed home. Why they stayed home is debatable some say because he was a Mormon others say because he was not conservative enough.
Either way, one of the things Trump has going for him is that he has created excitement. A huge following of people who will turnout regardless of the weather or anything else that’s happening in their lives. Are Hillary supporters excited about their candidate? NOPE.
