President of the US Picks

Again, cogent anaytical frameworks are necessary when making such judgements, which is beside the point. Your ilk’s reflexive condemnation of the current occupant of 1600 Pennsalvania Avenue is a red herring meant to distract from the fact that A) you are talking out of your ass when it comes to the subject at hand and B) your candidate’s foreign policy (or lack thereof) sucks. Throwing partisan stones doesn’t do anything to shore up the foreign policy nescience of your preferred candidate. If Teddy is so sharp in the realm of international affairs, you wouldn’t have any issues explicating and defending his platforms. You continue to shirk that duty, but at this point I don’t expect you or ZEB to do more than throw shit at the wall. He’s unable and unwilling to do more than that. Perhaps you’re only the latter. Perhaps not.

There is nothing mysterious about Trump. He is a disgrace and a danger to the United States. He and his supporters are aligned against the interests and values of not only the GOP, but the nation writ large. Republicans and Democrats of all stripes should be staunchly opposed to him.

That wasn’t Zeb’s point - he was simply doing what he frequently does when someone criticizes a Republican - he redirects with a “hey, you know who’s really awful? Obama! (or) Hillary!” Barfing up red herrings isn’t a rebuttal to the criticism. He doesn’t get that, probably never will.

In any event, to your point. I really look forward to the bumper sticker:

“Vote Cruz: He’s Probably Better Than Obama on Foreign-policy but Hey, Who Isn’t?”

Dynamite. Very inspiring.

I don’t know Bis, I sort of look at you as a pesky ant at a picnic on these here threads. I give you the desired time and effort that you are worth.

You were unable to figure out that I was pointing to the worst foreign policy President that the modern era has ever seen. You missed the plain fact that my intention was to point out that either Cruz and yes even Trump would have to do better. It is a low standard that Obama has set. And he had lots and lots of those highly educated advisors who have dedicated their lives to policy. And what came of it? A royal mess all around the world.

Anyway you continue the arrogant, inexperienced kid act which I suppose suits you because after all you are an arrogant inexperienced kid.

So…if you don’t like my responses to your questions you can always stop talking to me (which I did you for many months).

This post took about 2 minutes to write and already I wish I had that time back.

Yes, you know my point far better than I do because you are the amazing Thunderbolt23 able to grasp finite points, come back with ad hominem attacks and also apparently read minds—.LOL. You are da man, or at least you used to be.

What you fail to acknowledge, as your emotion will not allow it, is that many times I have defended various candidates and stated very explicit reasons in my posts. To you, to many others. Sometimes I get some great responses and other times I get whiny nonsense and name calling. The name calling is usually from you (oh my you don’t like me sniff sniff)… The drivel you wrote above is at least amusing so thanks.

You like it? You don’t like it? Doesn’t matter to me TB.

To anyone who would like to answer:

What sort of foreign policy experience does any candidate have prior to ascending to the office of the Presidency? Let’s take a look at modern day Presidents. The only two who had any foreign policy experience were Dwight Eisenhower as a former General and commander of our forces during WWII. Also. George HW Bush as head of the CIA and VP for eight years he had some chops in this area. Out of all of the others none of them had much.

Who else?

Truman? Some credit due to his being VP under Roosevelt for a couple of years.

Kennedy? Nope

Johnson? Nope

Nixon? Nope

Ford? Nope

Carter? (he did command a submarine but that doesn’t count for much in this discussion) Nope

Reagan? Nope

Clinton? Nope

GW Bush? Nope

Obama Nope, but he was a hell of a community organizer.

So, there you have it. One can sit on the sidelines and claim that Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have no experience in the area of foreign policy. They can attack their views, sure why not especially when the attacker does not like either candidate. But, what does that really mean? Nothing!

Other than the two former Presidents cited above we’ve not had any modern day Presidents with any foreign politic experience. But, we are voting for someone who we think will be firstly smart enough to learn on the job. And secondly will surround themselves with top flight advisors in that area.

I’m critical of their positions, many of which are unfounded, counterproductive to American interests and national security, and antithetical to American values. Do a control-F search on my relevant posts and see if you can find me citing lack of experience.

Here’s the thing, and I hate to agree with the vitrol of SMH, but that doesn’t mean shit to a coal miner. I’m smack dab in the heart of coal country and I can guarantee that those same dumb motherfuckers that voted themselves out of a job will vote themselves out of a callback.
Hell, I was in a plant building coal barges when Obama said his piece, and every asshole in the place just lock stepped and voted right down the party line. They are fat greedy dumbshits that vote for free stuff, and an abomination to the generations of hard working miners that came before them.

Still waiting for a response to my posts pushy. Explicate and defend Cruz’s foreign policy platforms and prove he wouldn’t be a terrible president in that regard.

What exactly are American’ values?

Often, American values, are actually, just the values that people with large audiences state on their media platforms, claiming they represent American values.

No such thing in 2016.

These seven principles are hardly unattainable.

What exactly does this entail? You support droppin’ atom bombs?

Ok. You’re both unable and unwilling to do so. I didn’t expect much more.

See the picture I posted above.
