POP! Goes the Democrat!

Yep…and any and everything that can be dug up.

Biden is going to be hit hard, often and without mercy or remorse by Trump; the Conservative PACS; Conservative Media; and Russian fake Social Media.

It’s already begun.

Is there some reason you think this is strictly political?
Or are you saying righties will just hammer this, while we wait on more detail?

Biden did sort of throw it out there with the son of a bitch declaration.

As opposed to what?

I am unclear on the question.

This Presidential Election will be a to-the-Death Cage Fight.

You said righties would go after him.

Dots connected would certainly be a very lucrative pay for play, greased by a VP acting as a point man in both China and Ukraine.

Surely msm and public has some interest in this.

You missed the current front he is facing. The 22 other Dems looking to burn his wings.

Tbh I think this will be a benefit this time around. Look at how 2016 shook out. Having only 2 candidates created so much animosity between the Hillary / Bernie camps.

Contrast to a dozen+ GOP candidates and the shit just didn’t stick. There were so many camps, that weren’t anywhere near the Dem camp magnitude, that consolidating them was cake when election day showed up.

A fair analysis with one key difference, Biden is the clear front runner, so the guns will be trained on him.

The GOP had no clear front runner initially, so it was a circular firing squad. Most aimed their guns at people other than Trump, on the assumption that his popularity was a fleeting thing. Biden doesn’t have that luxury going into the season.

What he does have is a 3:1 vote share advantage.

Difference here is Biden is a phony. He apologizes and back pedals a lot…whereas, some can hate it all day, but Trump slips up and keeps going, no need to stop and say sorry over every hiccup and infraction…once you do, the media see’s you as weak and the sharks will circle, as they are now with Biden.

Fair point. I guess I’m just hoping they learned to spend less time eating each other over nonsense.

Right. Trump would never flip flop on an issue.

He’s definitely not known for always taking every side in a variety of positions

Nothing really sticks to Trump because of his slip ups. The minute the media starts talking about one of his slip ups they have to stop because he just said something about how he fucking hates dead John McCain. As they talk about that whoops he said something else crazy so everyone forgot about that and now they are talking about this and the cycle continues.

Couple this with rarely fielding questions and essentially never directly answering them and you have the teflon Don.

Starting a stupid war will stick.

Calling Biden phony was in context to his public appearances as a potential candidate. Back peddling, apologizing and stopping to address critics like AOC aren’t going to build confidence with his voters.

O’Rourke is in a much worse situation. A poster boy for the Left for months. Seemingly overnight the MSM dropped him and fawned over Buttigieg. Beto’s out trying to rally support, but its really just a non stop apology tour. Instead of validating his worth, the media and other special interest groups (most on the left no less) just upped their attacks…they smell his uncertainty and will finish him completely before long.

Trump in comparison was the exact opposite to these guys. It doesn’t matter how you, me or anyone else feels about him. He came out like nobody else has, said and did what others were afraid of and didn’t pretend to like his opponents. This bold stance and off the cuff attack was the antithesis of what we’ve grown use to with typical phony political promises that never come true.

I agree 100% - at least with the first part of your response.

You hit the nail on the head with the Media jumping from word to word, scandal to insult and back again. I would only add though, (IMO) that this is more a symptom of the hungry media mob having an overload of information as well as an increasingly limited attention span. Once you’re attacked (usually for trivial BS that they’ve spun out of context) you can throw yourself on the cross - a la Beto O’Rourke apologizing for existing basically - or you can just go on about your business and in a day or two, the media hit squad has moved on to another target.

The media, the #metoo’s - basically the “Victim Olympics” crowd, want instant gratification by way of public self flagellation - but, if it doesn’t come easily, they move on.

I guess I’d ask if these are good things though? It isn’t like Trump is the first person to have disdain for someone he is running against. In the past though politicians basically bit their tongues in many situations because Americans wanted someone who at least was civil and careful with their words in public. Trump came out and was none of those things. Is being unhinged something we really want in a President?

Do we want someone who doesn’t consider their words before using them? Someone who comes up with a juvenile name for every political opponent? I just don’t see how these traits are virtues we should seek in someone who holds the highest office. I view being careful not to say everything you can think of as a sign of an adult. I’m not sure I get the people (not saying you) who are so happy that he speaks his mind (whatever the fuck that means). I tell you Hitler isn’t afraid to speak his mind what a guy!* I know I’ve said it before but I think if most of us had a 70 year old grandpa who behaved like Trump we would seek help for him.

Also I would contend Trump’s political promises are every bit as phony and hasn’t met a whole bunch of them. Just the way I see it.

*Not calling Trump Hitler of course, making a point about how I feel it’s stupid to praise someone for not having a filter.

To be fair, Trump does all of the above as well. His people just don’t really care.

“Tell it like it is” like his followers like it…

His people don’t give a shit…

Teflon Don did eventually get a life sentence.

It would be a boon to this country if these politicians running for other offices were required to resign their current positions.

Yep, @idaho

The number of DEMS running is bordering on ridiculous now.

I have to wonder if it’s all an ego thing now…“I have SO much more to offer than those other 38 people running! Vote for me!”

They all sound like static to me now. At least Trump’s “message” comes through loud and clear.

(Again…Trump must be loving this…)
