Pollsters Continue to Prove Progressives Are Right About Everything

Which will lead to monopolies. No thanks. Big Pharma is already bribing the politicians and have a cozy revolving door with the FDA.

With the influence of money from Big Pharma!

How do other countries do it and what are the results?

So you put the fault at the feet of the public rather than passing a law designed to protect them from obvious conflicts of interest? You live in a world governed by a desiccated political philosophy.

Wow thin margins! As the pharmaceutical companies are the most profitable.

Why do you suppose that pharma co.'s give so much to politicians? For fun?

Secondarily, he tried to claim I was blaming the victim, when in fact I was pointing out the need for due diligence by each individual. Getting a second opinion is due diligence.

So he wants the consumer to do detective work in place of the conflicts of interest between the FDA and Big Pharma which is designed to keep the profits up. Often at the expense of consumers.

Funny how the states with medicinal marijuana have lower deaths from opioids. Big Pharma was initially against it’s legalization. Why?

It is about profits, first and foremost. And if there is some collateral damage, the environment and peoples lives, so be it.

Every individual is responsible for themselves. What steps each person does to mitigate their exposure to harm, in anyway, is not victim blaming, but common sense survival.

You’re the one saying the FDA and ā€œBig Pharmaā€ can’t be trusted. So therefore, do something about it. And before you trying and limit someone else’s freedom, you should make sure your own room is clean in the process.

Laws don’t always work as intended, and your idea is not only an assault to individual freedom, but also likely dumb on it’s face because working in two related places doesn’t automatically mean nefarious things.

Well I’m not a Marxist, so I can see how you keyboard revolutionaries could view it that way.

It isn’t a global grand conspiracy but merely an institutional analysis.

Do you have a reputable source for this? Not alt-left garbage.

Same reason unions and planned parenthood does I suppose.

Yes. This is sound personal financial decision making.

and?

Big Pharma’s main goal is to manage symptoms not cure diseases.

It’s not their fault people eat snack foods, drink Pepsi, smoke etc…Whose fault is it? Big Food creates cheap and nutritionally void foods for little cost. They create ads designed to entice the consumer to buy them. The financially struggling middle class often have no choice but to purchase these garbage products. Is it valuable or honorable of Big Food to do this? No. But they are making another buck and that is what’s most important.

No choice, huh? Last time I went to my middle class store, water, rice, veggies and meat was cheaper than cereal, pizza, ice cream, fries and other shit. I have no fucking idea what you’re talking about here.

A government by and for the people is much different than what we have now. Which is a government by and for the corporations.

Do you have any credible source that shows Big Pharma barely survives? Not some alt-right garbage.

Same reason unions and planned parenthood does I suppose.
Do these groups affect policy? Do you have a reputable source that compares donations of the two?

It is the job of the agency not the public.

When profits are put before people terrible things happen. The fact that you cant see this says volumes as capitalism eats itself.

Pfizer 2nd largest US Pharm company 2016:

13.7% not amazing.

No, because that isn’t what I said no is it?

I said thin margins. Do you know what a margin is? (I know you don’t, but that’s okay.)

Did you just ask if unions and planned parenthood affect policy? Seriously? That is a serious question?

lmao

Seems like the top 17 is pretty heavy to democrats too man…

Being this childish lol. No Karl, the government isn’t your daddy. Grow up and take care of yourself.

Okay Karl, okay.

Karl, before you get all uppidy about this, note Top Line is up from 2014 to 2016, and the Bottom line % keeps going down.

Thin Margins.

Bro, they don’t deserve to make money off the sick. Fuck them and their $7.8 BILLION dollars spent on R&D. /sarcasm

That amortization tho… Patents I assume. Cash Flow statement should be pimp af, depending on capitalization of R&D.

Don’t they have to have some of this in inventory though?

(Never done an audit on Pharma, so not sure, and not going to look it up for Karl’s sake.)

Which would mean…

Fuck it, pull up/link their Cash Flow if you get the chance
