Police Brutality

That was wrong. Even though I think most cops are probably regular guys there are plenty who are insecure power-hungry little twats who are just bullies. One of the worst people I know personally is a cop.

The worst is the arbitrary rule-makers (like wanting the guy to zip his jacket) who are above the law themselves. My dad was a cop for 30+ years and although I don’t think he was an absolute angel, he would tell stories about appareling things he saw over the years.

This only stands as long as fearful people put up with it.

Well, I can understand almost asking the man to zip his shirt; from the vid, it looked like he had nothing underneath. Which isn’t something a parent with their child out side wants the kids to see. But the civilian WAS being compliant, WAS following direction from the LEO, and STILL got fucking tanked.

I know we have some cops on the board; do you guys want to say anything?

damn i think is should become a cop. once i get a badge i can go and kick anyones ass. why do these people have to do this. i mean i could see violence against gang members, drug dealers, and sexual preadators… but fucking mentally challenged people. i could even see the person was mentally challenged in the vid. what a fuck off

Why would a cop just randomly ask someone to zip up his sweatshirt? Doesn’t the BS buzzer go off here? Then, the security camera of a private business seems all set to film this; not inadvertantly but on purpose.

Could be the cops are crooked, set this up, so the 3 of them collect millions. There are lots of scams in this F’up world.

How the hell are cops supposed to control things? Hand out milk and cookies?

I saw nothing at all wrong with what the cops did. How could the cop know if he was disabled? Should he guess that and catch a blade?

He should have beat the guy harder, when more people were around; show what happens when you fuck with the cops.

/thread

And on what grounds can you tell someone to zip up their sweatshirt. The cop is clearly a low-life and I wonder if you would have the same opinion if it was you getting beaten since you too are clearly disabled (mentally that is for your disgusting post).

LOL! Another lib who lives in some nice clean well-mannered suburb…pathetic.

What if having an unzipped sweatshirt is a sign in Passiac that you’re looking to make a buy? Or to show that you’re unarmed? Do you think police patrol Passiac (Passiac, FCS!) looking to beat on innocents? Its Passiac, FCS!! Passiac is one of the most drug and crime infested cities in America!

Cops have to use the 70/30 rule: about 70% of random people (strangers) will be insane, on drugs, drunk, or any combination therein (remember, they voted for Obama). They basically act like deranged cattle; so that’s how they have to be treated. A TASER is simply a cattle prod for people, btw.

Look at about 70% of the posters in here. There you go.

So your Constitution only applies to the choosen ones (republican wife beaters). You are clearly living in the wrong country. Try the middle east sounds more up to your speed.

If he is a drug user he most likly never voted or even knew there was an election.

This is horrible. That cop is a fuckin cunt, Id love to met him, it would be comedy, the biggest fuckin dumbass cunt ever.

HH is just trolling. He hates the government but thinks cops should be allowed to do what they please. Completely contradictory- he’s full of shit.

The is disgusting, this just cements in my mind that the police are SCUM, and until that time that these low life power hungry pricks are dealt with. I have lost all respect for police.
and yes i would fight one back if the officer attacks me, i’m not one to take shit from the police.

Pastor Beaten & Tased for asking proof for his arrest.

It seems that even of you fight back in self defense theyll still convict you of a crime, no matter how wrong the cop was.[/quote] no

Well its usually because your uncle Tim would grope you and you were a pushover throughout life and now that you have a gun, a badge, and a uniform people become submissive before you. Serving and protecting is just thrown in there for pizzazz

They got another scum bag druggie off the streets

The Arizona Republic .
Four Mesa police officers and a lieutenant are the subject of separate internal investigations, one of which involves an officer who is accused of flushing a 4-inch stillborn fetus down a motel-room toilet and one of which involves improper use of force against a handcuffed prisoner.

“These situations are very troubling to me, because they tarnish the police department,” Mesa Police Chief George Gascón said in a news conference Wednesday.

Saying he wanted to be “transparent” with the public, Gascón described how on Monday, a manager at the Motel 6 at 336 W. Hampton Ave. called 911 to report that a man was requesting towels because his girlfriend was miscarrying her 12- to 14-week-old fetus.
Three police officers and four EMS personnel responded to the scene. The mother was taken by medical personnel to a hospital, and her boyfriend was arrested on drug charges and having an outstanding warrant.

Gascón said there was some confusion among police and fire officials as to what to do with the fetus, which was wrapped in a paper towel.

According to those on scene, an officer “disposed of it by flushing the fetus down the toilet in the hotel room,” Gascón said. “What occurred here, I have never seen in my career. There is no question the fetus needed to be treated differently.”

The officers requested a supervisor on scene, but the lieutenant didn’t respond, Gascón said. Typically, the officers should have waited for a supervisor to determine whether the medical examiner needed to be called to handle the fetus.

The officers were identified as Kristen Johnson, Nicholas Webster, Robert Buquo and Glenn Pearson. The lieutenant was identified as Lynn Young. All of the officers were put on administrative reassignment, police said. That type of duty can include being sent home or working from a desk. Young remains on duty pending the outcome of the investigation.

Mesa Fire Assistant Chief Dan Stubbs said fire officials also were investigating the incident to determine whether any fire personnel acted improperly. The police department hasn’t said which officer is accused of flushing the fetus.

“We know there was a breakdown in communication; we want to figure out where that was,” Stubbs said.

Gascón also spoke of a second investigation involving a citizen complaint against Webster. That occurred on May 16 and was captured on videotape. Webster is accused of using improper force on a handcuffed inmate, identified as Sean Okoli, 21, whom Webster was transporting to jail on suspicion of urinating in public and jaywalking.

Jail surveillance video shows Webster escorting Okoli from the back seat of his police cruiser. The officer then grabs him from behind the neck and slams his head down onto the truck of the car and holds him there for several seconds. Webster the lifts the man from the car and slams him against a chain-link fence, where he’s held for several more seconds before a jail officer comes out.

The man filed a civil complaint May 19, which sparked an internal affairs investigation of Webster, who has been with the department five years.

Fabian Cota, president of the Mesa Police Association, said it’s important that the investigations are allowed to run their course before placing blame in either case. “There are so many missing pieces. It’s really premature to rush to judgment,” Cota said.

I’m a LEO. From the perspective of the video, it looks like this cop should lose his job. However we don’t have the totality of the situation. No audio, and nothing but 1 second before the cruiser pulls up.

I’ve been in quite a few fights on the job. 80-90% of all uses of force, the suspect claims police brutality. However, less then 1% are actually found to be illegal. I only say this because so many people on here seem to have a story about how they got beat up or picked on by cops. You guys need to look at the way you acted from a reasonable person’s point of view… too many of you are very skewed in what your thoughts of reality are. I’ve never had to cover for a partner slapping someone around wrongly.

This perception by a lot of the people on the board actually makes me think I’m electronically hanging out with a lot of scumbags. If you go back and read the posts on all these police threads, you guys talk like convicts. Actually I take that back, a lot of the convicts actually know they are in their place based on the choices they made. Most of you post the most ridiculous stereotypical crap I’ve ever seen about people you have never met, and have no clue about.

If you choose to treat the intelligent and productive as sheep to be shorn by the Dems for your benefit, then cry ‘Foul!’ when a cop beats this guy, then you all are the inconsistent ones.

You either live by violence or you don’t. Pick one.

How come i NEVER see a white get get beat by a bunch of black cops? rhetorical question of course, it’ll never happen.

Why are 85% of the people in prison black?
