In the sense of preparedness, sure. In the sense of groveling paralysis, no. If I hear the neighbor beating his wife, I call the cops and expect a response. Maybe his brother comes after me, maybe he doesn’t.

The former is what I meant.
As to the morality, I don’t care. I’m just hoping this is more towards the end of it than the beginning.

And, the first trial was four months after Hitler died, the ship hasn’t even gotten back to shore. Moreover, Osama died with a gun in his hand (and likely using a woman as a shield). The guy is a known loon, he’ll stand in the middle of a fire fight and not even move. What are they going to do wait until he runs out of bullets in a militia compound? They’d still be waiting.
