interesting, and true.

BTW, by my reckoning you missed more than just the 'Stan’s.
No, I didn’t. Every other country is there, some of them more than once.
And, again, you can probably get the Stans too, if you wanted to.
Edit: For example:

All that are left are Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Bet I can get them, too.
Nah, you’re not done.
Shit, I was right but not “right enough.”
I could not find condemnations from Mali, *Niger (on my first list), Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Guinea, and Libya’s internationally recognized government in Tobruk.
Since we’re in a duel, or better yet, a “truel” (because of Bistro) I guess I still win! But I must concede Bistro was almost right and did not make an “outlandish claim” so I lost! in that respect.
*Never said my list was complete; it was what I compiled from looking at a map for a minute or so.
Damn you if you go googlin’ and shoot down the ones I listed above.
I got Niger (had to search in French, it’s in the French-language link in my first post).
You may be right about some of these new additions though. I forgot that Comoros existed until you just mentioned it haha.
I did figure that we’d find something for all or very close to all of them, because that’s just the way it works these days. France has a diplomatic relationship with all but, what, two countries on the planet? And the first thing you do, which is also the easiest, is you put out a statement when something bad happens to anyone but to your sworn enemy.
Edit: also, given the amount of work I am supposed to get done by the end of this week, I will join you: damn me if I go googling to try to shoot down these new arrivals.
Who gives a rip about flying the French colors? Serial killers go to candle light vigils for their victims. A lot of good that does.
Flying colors a statements of condemnation are fine and dandy from countries like Niger but countries like Saudi Arabia need to do more. We all know they won’t. Well, except for the ‘heads buried in the sand’ types like Bismarck. Everyone else knows they passively support the terrorists because they believe in their holy book.

My head is buried in the sand because I don’t advocate the mass murder of a quarter of the world’s population?

Not so fast, my little roadrunner. You got Nigeria, not Niger.
Beep. Beep.
Au contraire, mon ami. That is Mahamadou Issoufou, the Nigerien President. My guess is that Google’s translate function got itself confused, which it does very often.
i dont think all are muslim

Some of the comments on the second link are beyond despicable, true ignorance!

X2!!!
These gulf nations have all the money in the world (literally) and the most modern military equipment that we would allow them to buy, but they do hardly anything but lip service.
How many “refugees” are these nations allowing in?
What do you expect from nations will still employ slave labor and conduct public executions by stoning to death…
To invoke Niger in this conversation is clearly racist.

Not according to Bismark, all you need is verbal condemnation, which amounts to slack-tivists who light candles in the park and offer prayers.

I don’t know what you are referring to when you keep bringing up mass murder of a quarter of the worlds population. I remember expressing the idea that we inform the Muslim world that they need to start self policing or we will erase a city every time there is a terrorist strike.
Later, Angry Chicken improved upon my idea by suggesting it be a holy site instead. I like that idea better because contrary to what you think, I’m not a fan of killing. Those guys, on the other hand, are fans of killing and they have no respect for life so they would just pack whatever mosque it was going to be 8 layers deep with new born babies.
I would love nothing more than to see USA/Russian relations strengthen through a common enemy. Just need that loser out of the oval office before Putin will show any signs of respect towards us.
Now if isis would just attack china…

Your cure is far worse than the disease and would exacerbate it exponentially. The “Muslim world” cannot be treated as a monolithic actor. You’re advocating the slaughter of incidents in retaliation for the slaughter of innocents. You’re not only a fool, but a bloodthirsty one at that. Yes, the west should bomb the holiest sites in Islam. That’s solid counter terrorism policy there.
It hasn’t been terrorism/counter-terrorism for quite some time. It’s war. The W- word has just fallen out of favor. It’s to hard to get people to support War, but mention Terrorism and viola! All the support a politician could want. And support also means money.
It’s death by semantics.
