Got my labs results today: 7 days after one 300mg injection. I’ve been on 8 weeks, 300mg once a week:
TT: 777 (Range 350-1000)
E2:56.91 (Range 15-55)
FREE T: 30.9 (under 27)
VITAMIN D3: 46 (Range 30-100)
SHBG: 3.58 (Range 13.30-89.50)
Hemoglobin: 15.7 (Range 13-17.7)
Hematocrit: 46.3 (Range 37.5- 51)
Do you have insulin resistance?
No I don’t.
I would def consider switching to EOD and drop to 150 max. Your SHBG is really low and E2 is high. Again it depends if this is a cycle or long term treatment.
This is long term treatment. I can’t do EOD injections but you think I should drop to 150mg per week? Is it because my SHBG is low? What causes a low SHBG?
Low SHBG is generally caused by fatty liver disease and insulin resistance. You have way too much free hormones circulating about, for long term treatment you will want what your peak to be around where your trough is right now. High T is cool for awhile but you’re only encouraging side effects keeping it that high for long term. Guys with low SHBG benefit from EOD protocol because levels stay more balanced and e2 isn’t spiking and you can get away with a lower dose with a similar effectiveness.
With shbg that low, I’d have a talk with your dr. That’s really low.
It could be a big indicator of something serious going on.
