Olympic Medal Count: Canada 11, U.S.A. 10!

pookie,

Listen, we’ve been trying to send alec “Cheney is a terrorist” baldwin, and barb “stop making movies” streisand to Canada for years.

Every election cycle they threaten to go to Canada when the Republican wins. Every election cycle the Republican wins.

Guess what, they are still here!!!

I’ll keep celine and raise you alec/barb.

Funny story, after each of alec’s nutjob comments, the Republicans send him tickets to Canada!!!

I love it.

Oh by the way, if you are not interested in a certain topic or thread, why not shut the fuck up. Do you think you are getting thousands to “LOL” when you say…“The Olympics are on right now?” Not meaning to sound rude here but it wastes my dicking around time.

Glad you enjoy them. I happen to find them incredibly overhyped and rather dull to watch.

Try not to censor peoples legitimate opinions on the internet. You just come across as a spoiled brat.[/quote]

Zap…I get it…You don’t like the winter olympics. Sorry, wasnt trying to censor you, just trying to be witty canadian brat…I guess it didnt work.

A couple of forth place finishs for canada this morning, heartbreaking but still makes me proud.

For a small period of time Canadians did dominate the competitive ski world. We took a back seat in the last 15 years or so, What I am proud about is that Alpine Canada has readjusted things to, in time develop an unstoppable Canadian Ski team.

Alpine Canada is now headed by our most winningnest member of the former Crazy Canucks…Ken Reed. We do at present have the youngest ski team in the world.

Although at times, I may feel different as 1st place is the real winner, to finish in the top 10 moguls GS, SuperG, or downhill is huge and these people do have the capability to take home a gold. Don’t forget, the next winter Olympics are in Canada, and time will tell where these athletes will finish then. Perhaps even one of my kids.

You got me.

The curling and ice dancing have me on the edge of my seat!!

Who the fuck thought of these ‘games’? I’d rather see ‘Hunting a Terrorist’ – put a known terrorist on a mountain and have the biathalon competitors hunt him down. First bullet gets the Gold!! If we run out of terrorists, we could use child rapists, molesters, serial killers, and so forth. That’d be much more entertaining (can you tell I just read Stephen King’s ‘The Running Man’?).

Seriously…the Winter Olympics blow. I want to see feats of strength and athleticism, not some shrimps seeing how aerodynamic they can get or some girly men ice dancing. Yeah, I’m sure it’s all very hard, and I know I couldn’t do that shit, but honestly, who the hell cares?

the winter olympics are brokeback. see

Canada down!

i’m sure most canadians would trade all their medals for just that one

Canada pffff!

fuckin germans and those other germans(austrians) seem to be kickin’ everyone’s ass.

What is it now?

Austria 19

1 short of the goal..but yes, very good olympics for Canada…i dont quite think you guys will own the podium in 2010 though

I like some of the Canadian anecdotes…

  • Guy wins the gold, can’t talk to reporters yet, has to call his mom on the cell phone.

  • Woman wins the gold, feels lonely at the top, pulls her teammate with the bronze up there with her to sing the anthem.

We like to win, but we still have hearts too.
