Oil Companies Refusing to Up Production?

Okay, so then why bring it up?

Tell me why nationalizing the oil industry would work in the US.

Everybody has the same opportunity to do what I have done.

I didn’t have family money. I paid for everything myself.

I’m confident no matter what economic philosophy dominated - I would be successful.

So, you think some of the brightest economic minds can’t get passed indoctrination and judge a theory based on its merits?

Because nationalization has worked in other places and other industries.

Define “has worked.” More efficient and less costly than private sector?

So tell me, why can’t they explain how the U.S. pays for all those wars in the mid-east and why they can’t explain how those trillions were given to the bank to bail them out? Taxes weren’t raised and bonds weren’t sold to cover the expenses. So paying for those things don’t count? Only social programs?

Really? Do you think that the only metric here is access to money?

It’s not the only metric.

There is some luck involved maybe, but I think you make your own “luck”.

Intelligence plays a role not everybody has a certain level of that for certain things.

There are countless metrics and factors I am sure, but a baseline of hard work and ambition are requirements that anyone can have and many do not.

Starting points will never be equal or fair 100%. Some have had it easier than me and some harder. That’s life.

I think all of this has been explained thoroughly. What the fuck are you rambling about.

Oracle of T-Nation, why is the U.S. in debt? Everything else you say makes perfect sense, but why doesn’t the U.S. just print enough to cover its debts?

Really? Refresh my memory. Because I don’t think it has.

Do you even know what the debt is?

Do you think there are some things that have an effect beyond that? Maybe something that is institutional.

No.

Even if there is that can be overcome. Losers complain about the rules and situation.

Winners shut the fuck up, don’t whine, get to work, and make it regardless.

We all know which one you are.

Now excuse me while I go enjoy my new Cobalt boat with the fam.

So even institutional racism doesn’t count?

What is the overall effect?

Still waiting for your non-answer.

I’ll have to answer this later. Fueling up at the dock and out on the lake has spotty service.

I’m still curious though if you understand all of this so much better than all of us and we are all indoctrinated - why you don’t even touch the success of many here?

And yes I’m talking monetarily since you always want to ask what the definition of success is and my question makes perfect sense considering you seem to have all the economic answers but none of the money :clown_face:.

Can’t wait to hear your explanation.

I think so, but I could certainly use clarification from you.
