I was actually in the Philippines while all of this was happening, but I was further up in the province and thankfully we weren’t affected much at all.
You probably wouldnt understand the song(duh) but its called “Bangon” (Get up). I was deeply touched not only from the lyrics but looking at the pictures and seeing as how the country is coming together when its needed most.
Again, to the volunteers who helped out I tip my hat to them. To the people who lost their lives, loved ones and virtually everything they had, I’m sorry for your losses, but seeing as how everybody is in this together, we all know you can get back up. 
I’m planning to go again next year, and hopefully by then, the whole country is back on its feet.
