Obsessive Steroid Use in High School

However things in highschool spread like wildfire. This includes gossip and advice. I could see almost every former football player at my HS downing 80 mg of D-bol simply cause “Dude this shit works”.
75% of kids sounds like alot, although what E-man wrote is extremely true. Kids are extremely willing to experiment with almost anything, steroids included. Especially with all the shit high school kids have to put up with when it comes to ‘fitting in’, “dude this shit works” sounds really good to them.

I know, for a fact, that a local highschool here pushes stuff like MTRN and MTST on the seniors.

I was in a very seedy, but inexpensive supp store, ran out of my multi. I hadn’t looked into what they were carrying “behind the glass” since PH’s were given the boot. So I saw the coach of the varsity football team with a guy from the store, talking to him about the effects of various “legal” steriods. The supp store dude whipped out a box of M-TRN and was telling him all about the effects of trenbolone and how it gives “scary” stregth gains.

I said “What do you have for PCT?” (I asked this because I had recently read an article stressing the importance of hCG after tren use) The supp store guy, said, VERBATIM “They’ll only be on for 8 or 10 weeks, you don’t need PCT for anything unless your on at least 6 months”

(For those of you who dont know M-TRN is 17b-methoxy-trienbolone and is supposed to be closely related to tren and acts a whole lot like tren in the body.)

Yeah I used it, not as much like tren as you would expect. Plus the dosing at the most is like 6 mgs!? I never went over that and only ran 6 for the last 4-5 days to judge the difference. Overall it made little difference from 2-4 mgs. However, lets take note of how many mgs is required to get the desired effect. 2-6 mgs would make me think it’s pretty damn potent stuff. Now I don’t wanna endorse the product, in fact I’ll never use it again, there’s WAY to many variables that aren’t taken into account on THAT or ANY of these newere ph’s coming out.

Nobody knows much about them, just what you’d expect on paper. That can be very different then how it reacts in your body. And that’s not even taling about teenager’s using AAS which just shouldn’t happen at all.

BTW, I will get to you bro. I’m in my finals weeks and I’d like to not give you a half assed answer. Please be patient with me, I will help you.

What school is it?

wow america sounds infested with steroid use (no offense), there is virtually no steroid use in our schools over here.

A couple things I’d like to say. First off, I live in Canada, so 75% seems extremely high, I know of very few people who are on any kind of steriod or anything like that. In fact most people I knew who tried them did only that just tried them and than quit (they weren’t even working out hard enough to see the gains to make it worth while to them). Also unless you know for a fact that all the people you think are on steriods actually are, alot of them might not even be on them.

Alot of people at my school(students and teachers) use to think, as well as tell everyone else that I was on them. I am not, and anyone who every said or even asked if I was on them, didn’t have a fucking clue as to how hard I trained, and what my diet was like and everything else. So what I’m getting at is unless you see someone taking them or hear from them theyre taking steriods you might not know for sure.

75% of serious athletes… not 75% of the total school population. And this is a fact, since most of them are open about their use.

At a football meeting recently, many came out about their use of d-bol. And, there are more and more starting to take d-bol every day at my school. It’s an epidemic, and I am not exaggerating one bit.

It all depends on where you live. Up here, in Canada, we’re less sports-driven and have more of a “if you win, great, if you don’t… good try!” sort of mentality. Generally speaking, that is.

The result is a lower level of pressure on high school athletes. Lower pressure, less reason to juice up. Still happens pretty regularly, though. The High School I went to was strangely big on football, and there were a few steroid users on the team. Far from 75%… but still enough to draw notice. But that was a long time ago.

Years later, while working as a bouncer, one of the guys I worked with used to deal. He and his cousin had a regular supplier. In the days before the internet, that made them indispensible to the users. Stopping in for a workout at the local Gold’s, he started pointing out the users just in that gym… it was a hell of a lot.

Good for you, man. Keep up the work. From the sounds of it, your work ethic is going to reap some impressive results over the years.

This is priceless.

Kid, you’re about to make the best gains of your short life. You’ve stepped into a forum that’s full of training and nutrition advice, and started out on a good foot. Keep your ears open, pay attention to what you’re told, weigh it all carefully and incorporate what information you can into your life. You may not -feel- like you’re making dramatic gains, but you’ll lay a damned solid foundation for the natural bulk you’ll develop as your body matures.

I wish to God I’d found a place like this when I was your age. Best of luck to you.

…As an aside, that 75% number? Maybe he was exaggerating. Maybe not. Depends on the circles you travel in. Either way, he’s obviously pissed A little hyperbole neve killed anyone. Let the guy rant.
Very good point.
