Obama's 2013 Budget

About 10,000 a day.

This is why if I had to choose between the Republicans and the Democrats that I would take the Dems . The Republicans see cutting programs to the poor as being fiscally conservative

You can’t tax and/or cut the military your way out of this.

There is no morality in ‘helping’ the poor by destroying future generations without them ever even having a chance to put in their two cents.

There be cuts and reform, or a crash accompanied by even bigger cuts and reform.

I could understand cutting programs to the poor but then turn around and give it to the Industry that surrounds the military is unconscionable

It is painfully obvious, isn`t it?

The thing is, you dont have till 2025, such things do not decline in a managed fashion, especially because noone seems to be willing to admit that the problem exists and/or manage it, but they rather reach a tipping point and then it happens fast.

Greece went from about 5-6% to 30% on their treasury bonds withing weeks, though you are not Greece.

You are actually worse off, because no one on this planet can bail you out.

What is also entirely fascinating to me is that no one seems to get the meaning of broke.

I kind of get that no Congressman or Senator seems to care except of course you-know-who, but all the other guys want to bomb Iran, build deathstars, moonbases, shaft small businesses with healthcare plans or feel that this is the right time to discuss gay marriage, or the war on Christmas or other such bullshit.

And the media and the public seem to lap it up!

If I had to do one of these discussion as a reporter, they would talk one hour about one thing and one thing only, which would be how to balance the fucking budget.

On the other hand my irresistible need to bitch slap anyone wanting to build a moonbase might be a problem in that setting.

Something will have to go. And its going to suck for some people because of that. There is a lot of money being generated for the election, maybe we ought to tax campaigns like 40% or something.

And I’m all for a moonbase, as long as Virgin Galactic or some other PRIVATE company is footing the bill.
