No one is afraid of the socialist bogeyman in 2008. Have fun watching your party dwindle down to a bunch of Christian wackos who believe dinosaurs and humans lived together.

For a second I thought I was on bodybuilding.com, in the teen section, under the pictures sub section.

Then I read your post and it slapped me back to consciousness.

My face goes numb when I read some of the retarded shit people write.

To everyone else saying socialized healthcare is gonna end us:
Seriously, some of you would rather keep healthcare a capitalist controlled and expensive BUSINESS than a life necessity that everyone can receive, REALLY?

Break a bone, did you know that without health care it would cost 60k + to get that fixed? Now imagine you got laid off, you’re out of work and your old employer provided your health care. Its winter wherever you live, you slip out of your car after a long day of job hunting… you shatter your elbow, dislocate your shoulder and break your wrist. The doctors cost to you is $160,000.00+. You can’t afford any of the fixes.

Your body is permanently fucked up.

You still have no sympathy? Hang yourself then, we need better people on this planet, none more of you.

Heh. He said we have capitalist controlled healthcare.

Yes, it is run like a business by capitalist means.
Are you not only a slow animal, but slow in the brain as well, sloth?

Oh, I thought our healthcare was a highly regulated system, with a government that pays out about 40% of the expenditures these days. [/quote]

And the first BAby Boomer just started collecting Medicare this year!

Haha, well unfortunately for you, you’ve got it all wrong. Sorry.

So. Will we get to control the lifestyle choices of our fellow Americans with your healtchare system? If we’re responsible for providing healthcare for others, will they be required to abstain from risky behavior, thus being responsible to us?

Edit: Or, is this one of those “Pay for it, and shut the hell up” type of deals?

You’re right. He was wrong. It’s 46% funded by the government.

Well if you’re not filthy rich you won’t be seeing any major changes in where your money is going. The thing people are failing to understand is that the government’s budget is going to shift towards more social policies that help out the american people instead of switching to help up major businesses, stock holders, and special interest groups. Your taxes will NOT sky-rocket.

If anything, under McCain, they would have to go up – seeing as how his economic plan included the phantom 10bil. more than Obama’s. Thats 10bil we aren’t getting yet btw, so you gotta wonder how he’d earn that.

You’re fighting against yourself, Medicare and Medicaid (government funded) only help out the old and the needy… you are already paying for this. Now, everyone gets the same treatment, no special treatment for poor folks, you’re getting it too. This is a GOOD thing.

Well, the tax brackets that were to see a tax increase were dropping like a stone last I checked the Obama rhetoric. First, it was $250K, then $200, then $150. If it goes low enough, I’ll just ask my employer for a pay cut, I suppose. There’s not much point in working to fund some underemployed malcontent or likely criminal, IMO.

A good thing for slowing the hell out of medical progress, absolutely.

I think I’ll just let Orion handle this argument. He has more of a knack for demonstrating the failure of government ownership of things.

Yay for the new baby Jesus!
Yay for crappy socialized health care!
Yay for the nanny state!
Yay for gun control!
Yay for abortion on demand!
Yay for robin hood economics!
Yay for class warfare!

I’m just ecstatic that Michelle Obama can finally be proud of America, that’s awesome. And isn’t it cool that racism is finally done and over with? Maybe Rev. Wright can lead the invocation at the inagural bash, and he can scream “God Damn America” from the steps of the white house? That’d be sweet huh?

Even more comforting, is knowing that the world will now fully embrace us and love us; and terrorism will come to an abrupt end as a result. That’s one less thing to worry about I guess. Awesome. Sweet. Looking forward to the next four years. You betcha.[/sarcasm]

LOL. This is going the same way as the other time I interacted with you. Everyone’s stupid, you’re smart. What did you say your IQ was again?

I’ve never claimed to be smart, nor do I have any idea what my IQ is. To be honest, I don’t really give a shit what my IQ is, it has absolutely nothing to do with my life. Plus, as I remember, I just wasn’t quite patriotic enough for you – so you attacked me. I’m sorry that you get so offended and righteous with your dogma by someone holding a different opinion than you, I prefer to do my dick measuring in private, not with other people, on the internet no less.

I’m sorry, but how is retarding progress in medical science, technologies, and procedures anything but negative?

Then how do you know that yours is higher than those you call ‘stupid’? Shouldn’t you at least have some statistical confidence that your IQ is sitting higher than everyone else’s on here?

LOL. “Pot, meet the kettle.”
