They’re not idiots because they don’t know any better (IE due to a lack of experience). They’re idiots because they’re idiots. Don’t forgive them, as if they’ll suddenly grow into brains later in life.

Ahh, good to see another great post from Zap…

Although I haven’t been on the site in a while, it’s good to see that there is still some intelligence left in the T-Mag forums.

Barack H. Obama is really an unknown at this point, and I can’t imagine anyone voting for him in good conscience that also feels that we need experience to drive us through the challenges and opportunities we have have before us.

Take care folks,

Jack

Perhaps you fit in with your generation more than you realize…

Well…it’s obvious that you’re a racist.

nuff said.

Considering the fact that we are talking about Barack, could you please clarify if I’m racist against white folks or black? It’s my understanding that Barack is both.

Your friendly German-Cherokee-American,

Just sharing. Personally, I wouldn’t vote for Obama. There are third parties that’ll run candidates far to my liking.

No worries.

Sloth, I know you are a disgruntled conservative - what third-party candidates are you considering?

(And rest assured, I am not trying to draw at a discussion on wasting your vote on a third-party or anything, I just know very little about them this year)

Eh, probably the Constitution Party. A little too Paleo, maybe. I’m waiting to see who they end up running.

Edit: It’s a tough call, because they could be a bit more Libertarian on some issues, if you ask me. [/quote]

Feel free to write me in…I run on the pat party ticket. “I do it my way and I don’t give a fuck about your way”…It beats “hope and change” any way.

If you weren’t anti-abortion, I just might do it.

Why do people keep saying stuff like this? “Everyone is an idiot”

You know, not EVERYONE is an idiot. In fact, from my experience, there are very few idiots running around out there.

I think that people only say that everyone is an idiot because they want to make themselves out to be better than everyone else. So instead of saying that “Everyone is an idiot” you should really be saying:

“I think I am better than everyone else. I think I am superior in every way. I think that everyone should bow down before me and kiss my balls. Me, me, me. I am so great. I love myself so much, and I hate that everyone else doesn’t love me, and respect me like I want them to. If I could suck my own dick, I would. You should bow down and worship the ground that I walk on. Oh, and I am selling 8x10 glossies of myself, and my own bath water, on Ebay. So you should buy a picture of me and hang it over your bed so you can masturbate to it every night. And you should buy my bath water and drink drink it. I am better than you. Yes.”

There! That removes any confusion!

There are an awful lot of ignorant and intellectually lazy people out there. But I would not assume that I am better than them just because I am curious about the world and better informed than they are. Just because they lack knowledge in one area, or may even be poorly educated in general, doesn’t mean that they aren’t very perceptive and highly skilled in many aspects of life.

However I don’t have much respect for those who are willfully ignorant, or display contempt for knowledge and education.

Err… first of all, I didn’t say everybody. Second of all, I think it’s pretty obvious I’m talking specifically about being politically minded, not overall intelligence. If that wasn’t clear… well it is now.

I’m smarter than most of my school. I’m more politically minded than, statistically, most of my school will ever be. I don’t even approach being the best at anything in any larger area than my town community. Fuck I’m not even the best at anything in my town! I’m not special, but that doesn’t mean I’m not at the top of my isolated town.

So, get the fuck over your righteous self, please.

I considered that, but I still thought I’d drop a friendly reminder to the rest of the folks reading the thread that Obama is both white and black. It seems that the name-callers forget.

Interesting how he can play the “race card” both ways…

I’d sooner vote for (cough) Ron Paul.

thank god. Paul wouldn’t of made the greatest president, but at least his canidacy exposed a large amount of people to his ideas, and hopefully a better politician and speaker will pick up where he left off.
