All this thread is the Republicans continuing to flap their gums because the Negro got elected.

What about the other negro that has filed a suit against BO and California Secretary of State Debra Bowen?

And nobody has seen proof either way. That is the whole point.

Why do you always bring up race and such. It’s also interesting that noone can look critically at Obama and not be seen as trying to knock down a negro. They got something against the black man, lol. Idiocracy is in full effect now.

You know, you can’t “even” become a Secret Service agent without your elementary school teachers being interviewed and everything possible done to make certain of your past.

But somehow, it’s fine for a Presidential candidate, or actual President, to have his passport records, his educational records, and his birth and other medical records sealed.

And anyone who criticizes that and suspects something may be wrong is, well, obviously a racist or a deranged Republican. Why, any sensible person would see he is just nobly establishing some privacy principles.

Furthermore, anybody that sponsors legislation that would require future presidential candidates to show a long-form birth certificate are called the same names.

To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require the principal campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of President to include with the committee’s statement of organization a copy of the candidate’s birth certificate, together with such other documentation as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under the Constitution.

This bill would have easily passed at any other time. It is just a simple measure to make sure presidential candidates prove their eligibility. Through this whole issue what we have found is that although the constitution is clear about the natural-born citizen requirement, there is no legislation that clearly defines who is responsible for ensuring this. H.R. 1503 would fix this loophole.

They go into way more depth than kindergarten teachers.

I got a call from an investigator about a guy that I briefly roomed with in college
(didnâ??t really know) because they were interviewing him for a job that required security clearance. They spent like 45 minutes asking me all sorts of questions, very few of which I knew anything about, as it had been about 4 years.

It doesn’t matter even if true, in reference to making any practical difference.

The US Constitution also prohibits a person who has committed treason from being a Senator.

Kerry is still a Senator. I am sure if the idea of impeaching him were ever brought up, or even of having a hearing, that would be considered totally laughable and utterly out of the question by senators in general. It would never happen.

To the politicians in power, the Constitution is toilet paper.
And Kerry committed treason how exactly?

The elementary school teachers thing was the only one that I had personally-known knowledge of, as a friend (when I lived elsewhere) went into the Secret Service and gave that as an example to me of how thorough they were. He was selected for the Vice-President’s advance team.

But yes, I’m sure it is much more than only that.

The other reason for mentioning the elementary school teachers thing is Obama having his educational records sealed. We wouldn’t tolerate that, or having had passport records sealed, from a potential Secret Service agent or I suppose from anyone being considered for high security clearance. Or probably any kind of security clearance for a person who had his passport records sealed.

Strangely, the only people I know that ever bring up race in regards to the president are democrats. The rest of us don’t give fuck-all about it.

Im sure if americans found out Obama was born in kenya to a muslim father in a muslim surounding they would want him gone and punished.I sure would and a big part of me hopes it happens.

Thanks Tedro, Alan Keyes - Wikipedia

Alan Keys seems to the farthest thing an away for an objective person, that there is. The Republicans are doing business as usual, I am not a Democrat, and I am anti Republican for this same shit. I can not believe the Republicans can convince a large amount of people that they are better than the Democrats. When the Republicans are not in control they piss and moan how all kind of laws are being broken and how the world is going to hell , but when the Republicans are in control they act just like the Democrats
There is a mode of operation the Republicans are using described by Lou Pritchett Stop rowing and start rocking the boat. That is what all this bull shit the republicans are doing is to detract from any positive that could be accomplished

Right, because the first place I look for political commentary is fucking youtube. I can’t form my opinions on current affairs if I don’t see at least one youtube video on the subject first.

And as far as this website goes, you must be kidding me. I heard nothing, not one post about the man being unfit for POTUS because he was black. Fuck, even the nutjobs weren’t saying he was unfit for duty because of his race, it was his (supposed) RELIGION they were up in arms about.

Goal posts move much? How did “
bring up race in regards to the president
” become “
the man being unfit for POTUS because he was black
” ?

But even using your new standard, we have this gem from another current thread:
“I think people were so pissed and upset, they really didnt care if the idea of a black president was bad. I think people were willing to take the chance, because after all, what could have been worse than Bush.”

I’m sure this poster was a dem though.

And btw, the youtube clip was a guy named “Rush”…I think he might be a “non-democrat” that “[brought] up race in regards to the president”

Your right, no one in the Republican party would be dishonest

I am trying to figure out the logic of these race-based posts.

Are you trying to argue that since Obama is black then therefore there should be no criticism of his sealing his passport, educational, medical, and birth records, and no one should voice suspicion that there may be a reason behind that such as not being born in the US?

If that isn’t your argument (take the “you” in the plural as I think I’ve seen such posts from more than one author) then exactly why are you bringing race into it?

Besides the fact that many in the left pretty much never fail to make race a factor, usually a deciding factor where people are concerned. Was that your only reason?

I know it is because I am a left wing wacko, but I have no problem with him sealing his passport info, his birth records or his high school thesis or what size underwear he wears. You just may turn into a wacko and do something stupid with the info.

I personally do criticize Obama, but it is not for all the reasons the Rush Limpdicks of the world put into words for me.

I do not think that there is any way to deny the race factor with Obama. I know he is black, you know he is black. But there are people that think that blacks are less than whites. I get emails from friends especially during the elections that were very racist. I still get racist emails about Obama. I think Rush is a racist. And I think some of Rushâ??s followers are as well.

I don’t understand your complaining. No hispanics ran for office. 99.99% of the time race is brought up, it concerns in some way the African-American and the Caucasian. Besides which the only reason I can think of to bring up race in a negative aspect regarding the president is to claim that that person is unfit to be POTUS by fact of his/her race. So what I wrote was consistent.

I don’t know what thread that quote is from, haven’t read it.

I said two things: “the only people I KNOW” to bring up race are dems, and “on this website”. Rush is neither one of those, and I don’t listen to him. Perhaps I should have been clearer and stated that this was direct personal experience I was talking about. Either way, I don’t hear any national media presence like Garafalo getting up on the other side of the fence and saying something like what she said about the tea party goers. I suppose Rush might fit that bill, but once again I don’t listen to him and so am unaware of that comment.
