If they don’t disperse and proceed to throw shit at the cops, they get what they deserve.
The protestors should be rounded up and put in tent cities in the Arizona desert. That’d be enough America for the illegals.
Damn! Even your beloved FOX thought it was horrible and disgusting!
It was a peaceful rally, and according to our constitution’s Bill of Rights, that should be guaranteed to them. It isn’t, but I’m sure the founding fathers wouldn’t have approved of the merciless beatings of peaceful protesters.

Isn’t the Bill of Rights for citizens?
Anyway, the demonstrations in Mexico City are more fun — how many thousands of naked people were in that?

Cindy Sheehan’s child. Any other questions? Want me to read you a book also?
Cindy Sheehan’s child was a grown ass man making grown up decisions. I highly doubt the man would appreciate being denigrated and referred to as a child by a bunch of people trying to prevent his fellow soldiers from doing that which he volunteered to do.
But then “You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
I guess Spc Sheehan, like the rest of the military, is too stupid to know what is good for them. So we should have much smarter people, such as, I dunno, cooks, tell them what they should do. Right Pete?

When I read that part about the ‘cooks’, all I could think of was SpongeBob (whom my 6 year old daughter loves).

I could probably dig up a nice long list of American CHILDREN that died, buddy boy! 'Course, they all died on 9/11/2001. That might not prove this douche’s point. But, hey! Don’t let that shit stop you from screaming out the mantra ‘BUSH LIED!’ ‘BUSH KNEEEEEEEEEEEEEW, man!’ ‘This war is for OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIL, man!’ ‘HALIBURTON!’

Children are dying in a far off battlefield. What I don’t get is how any military EVER votes for a democrat. I’m not even a Republican myself but damn, the libs are constantly berating the military. We’re either children, or we’re too stupid to know what else to do, or we’re sadists. sigh
Listen Pete, if we’re children, then what about the children that are dying in Baghdad? I mean, the real children. Oh I suppose they don’t matter because they’re brown people right? Fuckin’ racist.

I’m waiting, Pete. Don’t just make a bunch of brainless accusations and then scurry away. Tell me who these children are.
I’m pretty sure he meant the word “child” metaphorically, like “sons”, as in “Send Sons, Not Guns” from the WWII era.
Glad I could clear that up for you!
No, I’m pretty sure he meant “child” in the same way other big libs use it to elicit fear and sympathy. “Oh, our children are dieing!” Bullshit, don’t insult the troops like that. These are some tough-as-nails American adults who VOLUNTEERED for the job. And if you ever served a day in the service you would know that they aren’t stupid.
Oh, and the Cindy Sheehan crap…I guarantee her son is rolling in his grave with embarassment. She’s a media whore, plain and simple. He volunteered.
Give me a break. That is so weak. He was an adult who volunteered for military service. She’s a media whore. Get off the Michael Moore bandwagon.
And didn’t Sheehan’s grown “child” make his decision to do a second tour?
The military doesn’t buy the most expensive stuff. EVERYTHING goes out for bid and always goes to the lowest bidder, or the company owned by handicapped women or minorities. There is no way to build a cheap F-35 or M-1 Abrams. The days of the $500 hammer are long-gone. EVERYTHING is scrutinized closely. Sometimes we end up with crap gear because it’s from the “lowest bidder” who claims to meet government specifications. We DEFINATELY don’t get the best stuff available, thanks to congressional oversight.

Either that, or people like you that are too stupid to look beyond the spoonfed media, or even seek out the denotation of a word before chastising it’s use.

HUH? Are you really not aware of the gross over charging currently being done by Halliburton who was given a no bid contract?
For those who are new to the political section this is how someone tries to get out of actually backing up crazy assertions.
It never works and always makes the poster seem less intelligent. Driven by emotion rather than fact.
Really, because I pointed out one lie. Why should I point out more. You are not going to be satisfied no MATTER WHAT I point out, so why BOTHER?
Your welcome. It was not hard to prove you are stupid and have your eyes closed.
Yes. Actually, lying makes a person a liar, believe it or not, even if that person is Gearge Bush. I know it is hard to come to grips with.
Why should I bother pointing out more lies? You are NOT WORTH IT.
Bullshit! I don’t know you and have never spoken to you before, in the cyber world or the real world. Do you think making shit up makes you look less ignorant?
The last time I checked this was a bodybuilding forum. Anyone that has questioned my bodybuilding dedication has eaten crow, and will do so in the future.
Yes, I have time to write some posts, but not respond to every single whim numerous posters can come up with. The reason for my posts was the overwhelming number of Conservative drivel I keep seeing on here. It is really staggering.
Does the other side of the fence really offend you that much? Perhaps you should look away like you seem to do with the other side to political stories.
Look, when I of all people am supporting the cops, then the cops are in the right. I hate cops.

I should avoid such generalizations. No, I like plenty of cops. I think most join for good reasons. When I picked up with a reserve unit going to Iraq, one of my SSgt’s was a cop.
I just have a strong dislike for people that write speeding tickets, bust 20 year old college students for beer, ticket my father in law for not using his shoulder strap on his seat belt (he has a pacemaker), follow me around for 20 minutes when I am DD’ing, and the like. Then you have places like the BATFE which, sigh well this all belongs in a separate thread.
I guess my main beef with cops is that I cannot trust them. When a cop enforces a law that is a violation of my liberty, then I do not know if I can trust him to take the right side in the eventuality a Hitler/Stalin comes to power in America.
Look, when I of all people am supporting the cops, then the cops are in the right. I hate cops.

I should have put this in my original post, but here it is.
I open carry my pistol around town. There is state preemption in Idaho and this is perfectly legal without a license. I would prefer to concealed carry, but I’m not a fan of having to ask permission to exercise the Bill of Rights.
In any case, I’m carrying my pistol in a local grocery store. I make it a point of being extra nice to people when I carry, so as to be a good ambassador for gun rights and to prevent what comes next.
The grocery “security” officer calls the cops. Instead of informing this guy that what I am doing is 100% legal, they rush down. I am now in line when I see a cop about 10 yards away with his hand on his pistol. I assume, since I am doing something legal that they are there to get a shoplifter or something. Three more cops spring on me and ask me to get out of line. I comply. They make a complete scene and make me look like a criminal in front of all these people then inform me that the store has a policy against guns. Of course the dickless wonder that is the “security” officer doesn’t inform me of this. He has the cops do it. At two other stores employees have told me of the policy and I politely left and stopped shopping there. While I am being told this I am being flanked by 3 pissed off cops with their pistols unclipped and their hands resting on them.
So I kindly tell the guy that if that’s their policy then it’s my policy to avoid stores that don’t care about the safety of their customers and leave, of course the officers felt it their duty to escort me off the premises. In any case, these cops were all there making an active effort to intimidate and embarrass both me and any other citizen that might have thought carrying would be okay. I’m thankful I wasn’t tackled or drawn on in the store, but still, not cool. And that is why I don’t care much for many cops.
