Seems a bit far-fetched to me.
The effects of decades communist oppression did negatively impact religion in those countries. Generations grew up knowing nothing of church because their parents were afraid of the repercussions.
Itâs not a win or loss thing though. The fact that the church managed to survive at all in the hostile environment it existed in was a miracle in itself.
It does give a blue print on how to eliminate religious people, oppression and murder.
That is what China is engaged in in itâs current movement to crush Christianity. The only successful way to do it is with force.
My plan to destroy ISIS would first of all been to negotiate a treaty with the Iraqis to leave US forces in their country thus negating any chance that ISIS would attack in the first place.
Once they did and took ground, I would have made a coalition of nations dedicated to the utter eradication of global Islamic terrorists. This coalition would not include any States which have a stake in the survival of ISIS for any reason. The concept of the Arab Spring would not have been backed because history has shown us when Muslim strong men fall from power, ie the Shah, Saddam, fundamental terrorists quickly fill the vacuum. I would have made an alliance with Qaddafi, Assad, The Russians, the Chinese, the Australians, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Europe, Nigeria, Somalia, ect. Leave out countries like the UAE, the Saudis, Turkey, Pakistan, countries we currently back which are playing both sides. Then one by one, I would form a plan to eliminate the Islamic terrorist threat in the coalition nations by any means necessary. Once al-Qaeda and ISIS were eliminated as a threat, I would approach Iran, Hezbollah & Hamas, the UAE, the Saudis, Turkey, Pakistan and make them a deal to eliminate the exportation of terrorism from their nations or be at war with the coalition.
I agree, if said nations would cooperate. Cooperation seems to be a nod and a wink from other nations, while we do the work.
The other massive problem we have is we have no means to round up and arrest fleeing fighters. These sons of bitches arenât heading to caves in the desert. They are heading to Europe, Africa and America, where they will continue their war on us, while we morn the tragic deaths of countless innocents because âno boots on the groundâ. The FBI and CIA just sent out warnings about fleeing fighters into western countries.
These guys are not going to come and say hey, I am ISIS, but we lost so I am going to just go home and pull the curtains. They are going to hide amongst refugees and sneak in where ever they can and wreak havoc. The ISIS dicks who lost territory are not going to Raqqa, they are moving west according to the intelligence community. They are hiding amongst refugees and hopping fences.
Good plan obama. Letâs wait until their out of control. Launch an air campaign and train soldiers who may be able to fight, but cannot surround and detain fleeing fighters so they will continue their war on our own land.
These rats arenât scurrying around the desert aimlessly, they are headed west and invoking Plan B.
Operation Inherent Video Game had no plans or means to contain ISIS fighters to that shithole of sand they occupy⊠I am sure it was just a minor oversight. They are JV Team after all, how bad could they be?

You also suggested in the past that ISIL fighters were using Somalia as a conduit to Libya and kept it up when a map was posted showing the untenable path and the fact that the chief terrorist organization in the country was aligned with al-Qaida, a bitter enemy of ISIL.
He also said that fifteen years from now, Iran will be legally permitted to develop nuclear weapons by automatic virtue of the expiration of JCPOA obligations. Itâs just a stream of babbled ignorance. I stopped reading his foreign policy posts a long time ago.
God, this would actually make most progressive demâs heads explode.

This is something I have been trying to wrap my head around for a while, despite wide-spread anti-semitism found within the democratic party, the Jewish population traditionally votes democrat. Why vote for people who hate you and consitently denegrate your homeland and support the people who want to run the streets of Jerusalem red with the blood of Jews?
