Not Feeling the Same After First Vial

Well you better start looking around cause like others have said there are Drs that start treating at those levels pre TRT. Most insurance Drs goal is to just get you into the ranges. So 250-1100 once you test at 300 you are fixed in their eyes. We have actually had guys who’s Drs took it a step further and pulled the script at a number like that and said ok you are in range now you are good to go. You dont need exogenous test any more.

You will soon learn that this isn’t going to work, the medical system has been engineered from the ground up to be ignorant in TRT which is do to a 1941 Huggins & Hodges report: (1) Reducing T to castrate levels caused prostate cancer to regress, (2) Administration of exogenous T caused prostate cancer to grow.

This study is of course seriously flawed, but is too late as doctors steered away from TRT 70 years ago and almost no doctor is educated in sex hormones, medical school covers sex hormones for only 20 minutes and is never again spoken.

Add to the fact TRT is a low profit, low cost treatment and you understand why doctors ignore it. Doctors want expensive treatments and procedures that allow for a healthy income, as a doctor you aren’t going to have a porsche and a nice house prescribing TRT for a living, it’s not worth the effort.

Many men have gone down this road before shopping for a knowledgeable TRT doctor in the medical system that is sick care, the majority have failed and the reason is easily explained above.

Update, saw my Urologist and explained my symptoms to him. Raised my dose from 100mg of Testosterone Cypionate weekly to 120mg weekly. Repeating bloodwork in four weeks.

Going to follow up with my GP and retest my thyroid to see where it’s at per my Urologist. As stated above I believe, my thyroid test came back at 3.8. Depending on those results, may see endocrinologist for thyroid testing.

Last test was TSH REFLEX TO FREE T4

Test result was (3.880). UIU/ML 0.400-4.100

Please keep us updated, I am looking for a good doctor in North Austin.
