I have had two violent dreams this week that caused me to wake up out of breath.

One was being robbed and shot in the head…I somehow recovered from the injury but I would see the same person always waiting for me anywhere I was walking.

The second dream had me in Iraq somehow.

A very common cold/flu medication is the only thing different that I have consumed recently that I might attribute the dreams to.

I have no idea what other factors might trigger those dreams randomly…stress…etc…

I have extremely violent dreams fairly often, which results in me shaking, twitching, and sometimes swinging punches and kicks. I’ve actually left bruises on just about all of my girlfriends while sleeping with them, it sucks, but luckily the punching thing doesn’t happen extremely often, and when it does I generally wake myself up by doing it. Not sure if that’s the same thing, but it’s kind of an annoyance.
