NHL Playoffs

Hell yeah. The caps wooped some ass tonight. Hopefully they can keep that going into the next game.

what, you live in montreal and you don’t speak french? French is my first language

Calgary is handling Chicago so far tonight. 3-1

Great game tonight. It was nice that there wasn’t too much going on after the whistles save for really just one occasion.

Real question now is if we’re going to get to see a rangers-bruins series now. Go rags! The B’s are too focused and disciplined to let sean avery slow them down. I didn’t catch much of tonight’s game, but it seems he was playing like a douschebag instead of doing his job out there.

WOOHOOOOOO! Flames!!

Now they have to keep this momentum!

That is his job!

My B’s are 3-0 right now

time to clean it up this Wednesday!

Bruins are looking tough! Here’s to an original six finals. Detroit/Boson, Detroit in six.

flyers looking to level the series at 2 a piece tonight. too bad our dirty little secret (giroux) is no longer a secret outside of philly.

Can’t wait! Celtics won last night with a buzzer beater with a Ray Allen that has been returned to his original form. The Sox finished their sweep of the O’s and it all happened on Patriots’ Day.

Edit: Thornton with a goal too. Milan back for next game. Good article on his suspension in the globe today too.

He’s supposed to make the other team do stupid shit, not put his own team in the box with a dumb play.

4 Minors and a misconduct is not helping your team. Alone, he had more penalty minutes than Washington did total. He knows what he should be doing and what he shouldn’t. He’s playing like the dallas stars Sean Avery.

we shall paint broad street with the blood of crosby

I am over in Ireland right now, but watch the games at ungodly times in the early morning. The Flames looked good last night…hopefully it woke Jarome up from his nap.

Is it just me or has Leopold looked shaky at best so far? I really wish we had Regehr back…

Oh well, Game 3 here we come!

I was pullin for the Habs there buddy. They are getting better overall as the series progresses, but it’ll take a miracle for them to advance now as I’m sure I don’t have to tell you. Boston’s tough this year man.

Too bad their fans boo your nations anthem. They fucking hate you and you cheer for them? HA.[/quote]

Ill jump in on this one. Supporting a team does not mean supporting its fan base. Im a longtime Habs fan who can`t stand the behavior of many Montreal fans.

Je te réponds en francais et tu me demandes si je parle la langue? Lache pas…

For the record: I know plenty of people living in this city who cannot and/or will not be bothered speaking the language.

Boston is tough. We were all over them in the 1st…but…either way, I honestly didnt expect Montreal to get past this round. Lets hope we can at least win the next one for honor`s sake.

We have a long list of injuries which didnt help our cause (not looking for excuses, mind you). Firing the coach shortly before the playoffs (as questionable as he was) and having Gainey behind the bench surely didnt add much confidence to the ranks either. Now, heres my real gripe: Gainey chosing to keep Carey Price in nets for Game 3 was the douchebag decision of the century in my book. Price hadnt won the last 5 games (6 straight losses now), was OBVIOUSLY shaken up, had a lame goals-against average for the past handful of games…what the hell was Gainey smoking putting him back in there last night?

Price was CLEARLY shaken up last night and it showed. Halak should have been in nets (I prefer him anyway) but Gainey was stubborn about his #1 `tender decision. Ah well.

Here`s to seeing Halak in nets for Game 4.

I hope Crosby gets destroyed tonight. I’ve never hated anyone as much as I hate that little piece of shit.

TheWings are manhandling Columbus again. 3 zip with 6 left in the 2nd. Umberger was slammed into the middle of next week by Stuart. Konstantinov style hip check from hell.

We have a put a stranglehold on this series wit ha commanding 3 games to 0 lead. 4-1 again tonight. Osgood has given up 2 goals in 3 games.
