im pissed at van’s implosion
I would love it if the Sharks can lock it up tonight.
It’s hilarious how quickly Detroit advanced, their going to have a huge advantage in the next round since they’ll have had such a long time to recover.

I think detroit is the only team that would benefit from finishing a series in 4. Having a week off isn’t always the best in the playoffs, but for this older squad it couldn’t have come at a better time. Plus now having a healthy Franzen AND Hank back, its looking good for the wings.
Making it to the playoffs every year and going DEEP puts a lot of wear and tear on these dudes. Hopefully this week gives em a big boost because they’ll need it against SJ or Nashville.

As much as I HATE the Ducks, they do have some sick talent. Ryan, Getzlaf, and Perry are all studs.
But they lost, as they should have.
I wasn’t surprised that the Pens lost today (not a solid history closing out a home recently), but 8 to 2?
Now, if the Sabers boot the Flyers tomorrow, I’ll feel better.

Nice to see Neal break out of his slump at precisely the right time last night. Huge win. But I guess they all are this time of year. 3 down, 13 to go.
COME BACK SOON SID!!![/quote]
I was so happy to see Roloson get beat on that shot.
As a goalie, watching him embellish a breeze through the crease drives me nuts. Not to mention his frantic pointing. If I were his d-men, I’d slap him.
Alexander Semin falls unprovoked on the ice more often than a baby walking for the first time.
OVIE with the big insurance goal on a breakaway

I haven’t caught enough of this series, but from what I’ve heard, Emery looks clunky. I guess it’s to be expected with his hip, though.
It’s really too bad Hiller is still woozy.

I never tire of semen and ovary jokes.

Yeah, for as good as Emery looked after the Ducks signed him, it hasn’t translated in the playoffs.
Had Hiller stayed healthy throughout the year, I think the Ducks would be in a much better place right now.
They are going to have to pull out all the stops to come back in the series and win 2 in a row.

Only eight minutes in and the energy is awesome.
I just wish you still had Halak. He was epic.

Seeing that name just totally killed the buzz I had from advancing to round 2.

Sucks that they are sub-.500 in the playoffs in Consol now though. Hopefully they bounce back and steal another one in TB to close it out.
Also hopefully Crosby realizes that it’s MFing playoff time and gets his ass in the lineup. I can’t remember a professional athlete without a history of concussions ever missing this much time from their first one. In any sport, ever. THE HITS WEREN’T EVEN BAD!
I really want to believe it’s legit, but I just can’t. Dude’s being a bitch.
