Yea that was painful.
If you take away their 5 on 3 goals, we would have won…

YES!!! So happy they got that W, although I swear I’m losing years off of my life watching some of these games.
But it’s soooo worth it!

I told you the Sharks were dismal failures in every sense of the term. I couldn’t stop laughing every time I heard someone say that Patrick Marleau getting into a fight was going to pump the team up and inspire better play. Like I’m supposed to believe that watching your pansy alternate captain get the fucking tar beat out of him while his tampon is hanging out of pads is good for team morale. Let’s go Giants!
the Lightning-Bruins series has been fucking amazing, my favorite so far.
Bruins will win the cup, especially if they can find their PP.

Have some faith, it’s easy to support a team when their winning.
The Canucks obviously look like the better team, but as long as they have a chance I’ll keep rooting the Sharks.
We can discuss off-season changes when we get there, which I really hope isn’t this evening.

Offseason changes to the Sharks should involve Jeff Gilooly and a pair of tire irons.

And people seem to forget what happened in the Chicago Vancouver series.

See, that’s just it. It IS easy to support teams when they’re winning. The Sharks have been consistent winners for years now, and yet it’s almost impossible for me to root for them. They have no heart, they disappear in the big games, they consistently underachieve in the playoffs, the crumble under pressure and they’re just plain hard to root for as a result. I don’t feel any sort of emotional need to remain loyal to them regardless of how good they are since I’m not a huge hockey fan anyways and I just root for them because they’re the local team. But as an admittedly casual fan, I am turned off by the egregious level of disappointment that surrounds this team every May. I hope they blow the whole team up this offseason and ship everyone out. I’m sure we could all handle a few years of futility if it means developing a team with an actual ballsack.

Your mouth is telling me no, but your eyes are telling me yes. Deep down I think you really care about the Sharks, and are having a hard time dealing with the frustration.
I agree though, if we don’t make it to the Cup this year, blow up most of the team and start with an almost clean slate.
14 seconds left, you have got to be kidding me.
And luongo, what the hell are you doing!

Holy crap you’re a drama queen DB! lol
It’s not like it’s the first round! I think any team that gets this far has done a good job. But It’s not over yet anyhow.
Last minute OT wouldn’t you know it. It’s too stressful.
damn.
doesn’t matter. Bruins will win.
and I still like Niemi and Eager and what they did for Chicago, but I feel oddly happy that they aren’t getting the cup again.
