When Marleau scored the third goal, I thought of this thread and just started laughing maniacally to myself for about ten minutes straight. I don’t know why. I have an appointment with a therapist tomorrow.

Congrats to the Sharks, Marleu finally showed up.
There were some god awful penalties called and not called, but it obviously wouldn’t have mattered. The Wings were much better at even strength than on the PP.
Really hurt not having Franzen, Bert and Cleary, but at the end of the day the Sharks star players stepped up.

Yeah, why couldn’t JR keep his mouth shut and let keep Marleau wallowing in mediocrity? Had to get him fired up, no man with any pride could take that shit laying down.
Divers looked pretty good, was a good game overall so can’t complain. Both team’s PK was top notch, SJ’s goal on a PP was the 1st in 4 games I believe.
Tell you what though - after last year’s playoffs and this year’s reg season I kinda sorta felt that the Divers had our number if you will. After these series - not so much, Red Wings showed that when pushed hard by the opposing team they still respond in a major way without choking - seeing that made me happy.
