Thats it, go ahead and jinx the Sharts. The Wings have dug themselves a deep hole, but they are playing a team that is famous for choking.
The Wings also have gotten better every game and all of the games were close except for puck luck. I had a feeling Setagucchi would get lucky after the wings didn’t produce on that penalty against him.
It’s the playoffs, every game is going to be close. The Sharks have also progressively advanced further every year, so your choking reference is pretty soft.
As for getting better every game? They’ve lost three in a row. Get real. Only the losers talk about “puck luck” and point out the bounces and penalty calls. The winners win.
Tonight should be an unbelievable game to watch, I can’t imagine how much energy is going to be poured out on the ice. Definitely looking forward to it.

Your right, they are getting better every year, maybe someday they will have a cup.
Hockey is very much a game of lucky bounces, some nights they just don’t go in the net. If you think that last goal off OUR defensemens stick wasn’t a lucky bounce you’re more delusional than I thought.
I too think that the Wings have looked better in game 3 than in first two.
Where they haven’t been delivering is making big plays at critical moments - letting SJ to force an OT with few min left in games 1 and 3, both OT losses, not converting on a couple of golden opportunities in game 2, etc.
They obviously lost all 3 games. But. All of them were decided by 1 goal (just like all 4 games won by SJ in last year’s playoffs), 2 out of 3 went to OT, don’t see any contradiction between the statement that they’ve looked better every game and still managed to loose. If they lost 10-1 in game 1 and then say 10-2 in game 2 - yeah, that would be a stretch, but that’s not how things went…

but whatever. here is my beard, which will be shaved promptly tomorrow… sigh, it needs another 6 weeks of growth.
The girl in the pic is watching your butt.
hmm, i didn’t notice that… i was too busy looking at my own butt. But seriously I must say, my butt looks quite scrumptious in that picture.
They’re looking great. Lucic finally produced and the powerplay is starting to look like a power play! I’ve got to say though, I’m wicked worried about Bergeron.

But it means we get more games!
We south africans are passionate people.
My dad’s friend broke his hand on the table because South Africa lost in the trinations.
Me being a canuck fan, i want this done and dusted and rather not suffer this razors edge torture right now
I was watching last nights game and through two periods thinking “shit! it really is over”.If you just watched the first two periods of that game, you could say that the Wings didn’t even deserve to be there last night. The third period was an demonstration of will and perseverance.
Still not sure they should have won, but it makes up for game three. I have to admit, the Sharks have been a monster to handle.
And is it just me, or has this years playoffs been better/closer/more exciting than years past? Aside from Boston (my team!), every match up has been really close and exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing where things head.
